Daniel McIntosh
Can anyone identify any of the boxes in this photograph? http://www.salesbaron.net/f/NNN717.jpg From this listing: THESE AUDIO BOXES WERE PERSONALLY MADE BY MIKE DENECKE. I'M NOT SURE WHAT EXACTLY THEY ARE FOR AND WHAT THEY DO, BUT THEY ARE IN GREAT WORKING CONDITION. AUCTION INCLUDES EVERYTHING THAT IS PICTURED. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200312821224&ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:US:1123 (No answers provided-not my listing)
Steve Payne
They look like splitters and adapters to me. I like the quote" I'M NOT SURE WHAT EXACTLY THEY ARE FOR AND WHAT THEY DO, BUT THEY ARE IN GREAT WORKING CONDITION. "
Philip Perkins
It looks like most of them are splitters for balanced signals, the ones with belt clips are simple boom op boxes, and the others are the kind of quick problem-solver box one might make for a specific job, throw on a shelf and then never use again ( I have a shelf full of very similar looking boxes from over the years.) David Waelder
As Philip says, the boxes with belt clips are almost certainly boom operator boxes but the others seem to be special purpose. I'll ask around; I have some contact with one of Mike boom operators. David Waelder
Sndspd
Some of them looks like a hardline IFB box for live shots.
