josephboyle
Anyone used any of these? One of B&H's daily deals today. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1043394-REG/auray_cfp_58b_carbon_fiber_telescoping.html
Mobilemike
Pretty good deal! No personal experience here to share although I have picked these up and played with them a little bit in the B&H store. They seemed pretty decent, but playing with it in the store is a long way away from actually using it in anger. FYI, the B&H website will let you order the pole at that price even if it says out of stock on the website. It just may take longer for them to get it to you. -Mike
Glen Deakin
They look like pretty nice poles. Not sure if they are worth it at the regular price but the sale price you can't go wrong.
Mobilemike
I was also interested to read that Auray offers carbon fiber extension tubes that apparently can be popped on any of these poles to make them longer without having to buy a whole new pole. I thought that was a pretty cool feature. -Mike
Jim Feeley
Never met anyone who's used one. It may be OKish, but I don't know if it'd last, if it's well made, or anything. Auray is a brand of B&H's "sister" company, Gradus Group, distributor of all sorts of knock-off gear. http://www.gradusgroup.com Geez, I'd probably chose a Rode pole over this. I'd definitely choose a K-Tek Avalon aluminum pole over something from Auray.
