Christian Spaeth
Nice view from above the roofs. First day, first shot of the movie, super wide with dialogue. Boom going into the shot, and everybody was cool with it (we established a House of Cards-style paintout workflow with the editor). Feels and sounds soooo good! Nate C
Christian I love the fact that more productions are slowly adopting the paint out the boom approach all over the world. Thank you for pushing for it.

Marc Wielage
Smashburger does make a good burger, but damn, the one in Santa Monica has music at about 95dB in there. Too loud to enjoy the food. (And bad for dialogue.)

soundmanjohn
Tuesday was the 75th anniversary of what was known as The Hardest Day of the Battle Of Britain. when the RAF and the Luftwaffe lost many planes and pilots. To mark the anniversary, eighteen Spitfires, four Hurricanes and a Mustang assembled at Biggin Hill Airfield, south of London and flew formations over the south-east coastal areas. Here are a few of them and the link will take you to SoundCloud, where you can hear them all start up and taxy to the dispersal point. I've added some sounds of Spitfires and Hurricanes in flight as well: sorry about the hideous SoundCloud picture: that's me in a Tiger Moth (passenger, not flying) a couple of years ago. Play them loud! Edited August 20, 2015 by soundmanjohn Added a second link.
