Bob Marts
On this forum, how do you insert just a link shortcut as apposed to inserting the entire address as the hyperlink? Such as : "link here" instead of "http//:etc.com" Thanks
Jeff Wexler
This is how I do it but I believe there is some better way to do it. The button "Insert Hyperlink" does not seem to accomplish what you are talking about. I copied this text string and keep it available to paste into my post: (you must remove the X's --- they are there so that I can display the text string here --- leave the tag intact, just take the "X" away) [Xurl=http://somesite/]Site Name[/urlX] You replace after the = sign the full URL of the site you wish to link, making sure it ends with the one backslash / Then replace Site Name with the text you wish to display that represents the URL (like "Read the article Here"). That text, the Site Name, becomes the hyperlink. - Jeff Wexler
