old school
Great times in P T. I've been to the Hood Canal maybe 8 times in the last 15 years but I haven't made it back to Port Townsend yet. Maybe next year. CrewC
jacefivesound
Here's a screen shot from this behind the scenes video of TED. This is me booming Seth MacFarlane as he performed the TED lines in full mocap wear while on set. We fed him the other actors in his comtek, and fed his lines to the actors with in-ears when they were too far away to hear him, so that they could interact. He's sitting up looking at pictures to emulate being teddy bear sized.

Jesse has the blimp and my mic is the fuzzy one. It was a fun job!

AndyB
I was working the kid, not JD. There were two camera and sound crews right there. 12' pole is enough for run and gun, I think....
AndyB
FWIW, I thought Jesse and I worked pretty seamlessly when we were both in one of these scrums. Between the two of us, everything was pretty well covered.

Ah, gotcha. At first glance, it looks like you're competing. And it's always nice to see booms just out of frame.

Jesse Flaitz
Haha, thanks for the great pic. Andy and I spent a good deal of time dancing around each other, the 2 camera shots following John inside of a crowded Cheeseburger in Paradise was the most fun... AndyB
the 2 camera shots following John inside of a crowded Cheeseburger in Paradise was the most fun... Yes they were! I thought it was funny that we usually ended up gravitating to the same spot in order to stay out of frame from the two cams.

Toy Robot
I hate working in the cold. It's horrible.
Olle Sjostrom
I must say working in extreme heat and sun is far worse. There's no way you can flee from heat. And when the day is over you freeze like hell. At least when you work in the cold you quit the day in a warm house
marcomea
If I have to choose between hot and cold I prefer cold, but at -25 C on a frozen lake and standing still you need a warm place every 30 minutes.
