Eric Toline
Manfred Klemme founder of K-Tek boom poles passed away yesterday. A good friend to all of us in this business. He will be missed. RIP Manfred. Eric
Jeff Wexler
I am really sad that Manfred is gone. He was always the nicest, most considerate person, always willing to help --- I felt he was part of the team going back to the early days of Nagra support. I will miss him. - Jeff Wexler
Philip Perkins
And he was an excellent teacher, I learned a great deal in various workshops and presentations he did over the years. Philip Perkins
Darryl Linkow, C.A.S.
Manfred was always a good friend and I am very sorry to hear of his passing. I saw Brenda at the K-tek booth at Cinegear last month and she told me about her father's declining health. Having battled cancer myself, I know some of what Manfred went through. And I still fondly remember going to lunch with Mike Denecke and Manfred and how enjoyable it always was. Two great men who have had a very large impact on the motion picture and television sound business.
FSBELLA
Brenda, Sorry for the delay. your pops was a great man, great attitude, great company. he was a pleasure to deal with and also- very easy to work with. I don't know how many times a section on a pole or the bottom connector etc. would fail and he would just say, "send it in we will take care of it", and we would get it repaired n/c or even a new pole! my condolences. keep up the great tradition your father started.
