Mbox 2 Micro

Recommended Posts

Would the Mbox 2 micro and the bundled software (Pro-Tools 8/48 channels/48kHz/24 bit) be a good option for track laying?

I'm not looking for any record-in options as all dialogue and fx are pre-recorded and this isn't something that I'd be using everyday, but the price for it is quite good and it's a unit that I can pick quite easily from retailers here. The last time that I used Pro-Tools was about 5 years ago so it's amazing to see something this small offering what it does.

Any thoughts from users appreciated

This is basically a dongle that lets you use LE without dragging the large Mbox about.

It came as an answer to complaints that one has a laptop but can't work on it with out a large mbox attached.

Digi where eventually only too pleased to help and to show their pleasure they gave it a substantial price tag.

After all it is aimed at laptop using mbox owners who already have paid for the software/hardware solution.

I got an MBox 1 (the odd shaped MBox) and lost the PT driver that came with it in the box. What PT version can I download onto MAC OS 10.7.4

can make it useable again? Thank you

You are kidding right?

Best to loose the Mbox as well, as you won't get it to work on 10.7.4
