RadoStefanov
"Since a spate of 11 suicides earlier this year, every building on the Foxconn campus is draped in netting. It is morbid, but seemingly effective: There have been no suicides since the nets were installed in May" It looks more like a jail. 8 beds in a room. Richard, you are wrong. Nothing that they make I want. It is funny Tea Bagers scream against socialism but have no problem making a communist government reach. Richard Lightstone, CAS
Rado, You seem to express the pejorative most of the time and insult a large number of private citizen Americans who are using their constitutional power of both freedom of assembly and freedom of speech. You use the obviously insulting term "Tea Bagers" to describe those that are part of the Tea Party movement. Do you have any understanding of what the Tea Party means to many in this country? Do you know any body who self describes them selves as a member of the Tea Party? Do you have any knowledge of American history and the founding of this nation? Why did you come to the United States; was it not for the freedom it provides? Where the hell did I "make a communist government reach"? What is all your anger really about? Politely: Please get a life.

RadoStefanov
Did Not mean to offend anybody. I am using my freedom of speech. Do not believe in a politically correct terms. RadoStefanov
About freedom: There is way more freedom in my country. But somehow people are not exercising it in a positive manner. US have the best ratio between LAW and ORDER and Freedom. I love government regulation. I love the fact that people and corporations are afraid of being sued. Keeps them a little more honest. John Moore
Sorry- but Corporations are NOT afraid of being sued... They are only temporarily afraid of not know how to manage current damage control sources (facebook, google, etc.). People, on the other hand, are quite afraid of being sued- mostly because they do not have the bank accounts that corporations (who are considered individuals/people) have. Law & Order to Freedom ration is questionable.
RadoStefanov
You are correct. If a corporation finds a faulty product but fixing it will cost more then paying for 50-100 lives, they preferred to be sued. People are afraid but that is why lawyers are very valuable part of society. To protect small people even if their main idea is a monetary gain Still most stuff and services you buy are safe. Contractors are insured, licensed and bonded. At least the ones that I would hire. Houses are insured. Most cars are insured. Products you buy from the store can be returned. They would very rarely kill you or your family. You have to ask for permission to remodel your house and start removing walls. To be honest what I like most is the working government. Main reason I left my country was small and worthless government. In the US I know if I call the cops there will be at my house in 2 minutes. And if the attacker is the Boss of the Mafia the cops would not hesitate to arrest them. I love cops as well. Sorry- but Corporations are NOT afraid of being sued... RadoStefanov
One very important thing to mention about this great country. And do not get me wrong I LOVE USA. US Taxes are so low. It is ridiculous and funny! And Yes I do not mind helping a single mother, disabled people or veterans with my taxes.

Marc Wielage
Another example of cheap outsourced labor manufacturing the things Americans want so badly. Note that Foxconn has 920,000 employees at their factories! The sad thing is, the conditions there are better than at a lot of other Chinese factories (and the Philippines, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, etc.). I've been to some of those factories in my travels, and seen stuff that would blow your mind. The Foxconn workers make (on average) a whopping $293 per month salary, plus benefits. Yikes... My job looks good by comparison. --Marc W.
RadoStefanov
Hong Kong and Taiwan is a lot more civil. Disclaimer: I have never been there. I have heard from a Sharp major investor.
