AT895 vs. Sennhesier MKH 416

I evaluated it extensively when it first came out many years ago. It was sometimes an amazing tool for sports production (and sometimes it wasn't) but it's directional performance was not consistent enough, nor was it's fidelity high enough, nor was it light-weight enough for film/video production dialog. I think it's fair to say that the concept (digitally processed/enhanced off-axis noise reduction) that was started with the AT895 has been taken to a level with the Schoeps SuperCMIT that is worthy of film production dialog and boom pole use. To be fair, I should say that I have not tried the AT895 in many years, so as far as I know, it's abilities could be much better know.
