RadoStefanov
Asus tablets are cool. I5 cpu with WACOM touch. Now that is what I call a professional computer.
Marc Wielage
Yeah, but I'm concerned about what the battery life is gonna be with these tablet PCs. The press is reporting there's almost 100 iPad imitators being introduced at CES this week! I'm not yet an iPad fan, but if they could solve a few issues (no camera, no HDMI out, no USB-drive connectivity), I'd sure think about it. --Marc W. RadoStefanov
No info on battery life yet. Check the Asus win7 pad. I was very impressed. I5 processor 64gb solid state drive 4gb ram ddr3 Wacom digitizer-impressive I saw it running Adobe PhotoShop. 12' IPS screen wow.......... 2mg pixels camera with led flash Hdmi-out card reader The major news from CES is windows will work on ARM processors. I already run win95 on my HTC hd2 but Windows 7 on a phone will be sweet Sent from my HTC HD2 using Tapatalk
dfisk
I'm not a fan of windows 7, but I'm even less of a fan on no connectivity on a tablet. I'm looking at you, iPad
Marc Wielage
All the rumor sites are convinced that iPad2 will be announced by Apple in about two weeks. Front- and rear-facing camera, Facetime, and maybe a higher-res screen. I'd still like to see them go 16x9, but at least they're moving in the right direction. --Marc W. studiomprd
As CES is the Consumer Electronics Show, there were only a very few of our usual suspects (manufacturers) there, and they were showing their consumer electronics: Sennheiser -headphones, Audio Technica -headphones, turntables (YES!), and Zoom - recorders. RadoStefanov
Did you see BLUE microphones? studiomprd
yes, I did, but they are not one of our usual suspects. Blue was showing a USB microphone for podcasting. BTW, Sennheiser won an award for one of their earbud headsets. of course these manufacturers, along with more of our usual suspects will be at NAMM later this week in Anaheim. (yes, I hope to see the Fostex USA reps.!)
