M.I.5.

Recommended Posts

Guest Mick

I'm a member of A.T.A.S. and as such receive quite a few DVDs each year that I watch and vote for in their respective categories. A couple of years ago I watched an episode of a British show called M.I.5. (Spooks in the U.K.) and was immensely impressed with it. Great stories, powerful acting and innovative directing and camera work. I'm guessing that "24" took at least a significant leaf out of their work book, having made judicious use of split screen editing and lots of hand-held cameras. The sound of this show is first rate, having an intense mix of dialogue, music and FX and I wondered if the production mixer was known to anyone in the forum, or even if he/she is a contributor. Either way, if you get chance to see this show you 'll love it. Netflix has all their seasons up to '05. The BBC still rocks.

Regards

Mick

Robert Maxfield aka Max may remember as he mixed some of it when they brought the show to Wilmington for an episode or two.

Edited Note,

You know that is really strange. I did some looking and maybe I'm not talking about the same show, although It was British, a series, and the same name... ( I got a ball cap for doing some second unit)

This was in the 90's though when Max lived here. So disregard my post. lol
