Chris Durfy
Hey guys, I'm wondering which Furman you guys have been using for your carts. I pondering between the PL Plus DMC or going full out on the P-1800 AR which offers full conditioning. Running two 788ts and two venues on the cart. Meon coming soon too. Thoughts? Thanks! -Chris
studiomprd
While Furman's are popular, I think they are a bit overrated and overpriced compared to other options...

studiomprd
What are other good options Senator? Whit APC units, I think they make much better conditioners and stabilizers (they make great UPS's, as well) than Furman, but they are not slick rack mounts, with lights built in... " Meon coming soon " If you run all your equipment off the Meon's DC, then you only need to "protect/condition/regulate" the AC you feed to the MEON, and that unit is, I believe, pretty well OK on its own. Ron Lacheur
Before settling on a Furman 1215, did look briefly into SurgeX's line. Looks pretty solid. http://www.surgex.com/products/sx1115rt.html
Chris Durfy
After thought and advice from you folks... I went with Ron's choice: the AR-1215. It seemed to be a good choice economically and functionally. Now, let's hope I never actually *need* it! Cheers, -Chris
