Take one workshop full of junk and a Frenchman with an eye for detail (not to mention an obsession with bugs) and you will find the most eclectic mix of metal insects this side of a sci-fi novel. This short documentary follows Edouard Martinet's patient and extraordinary process as he creates sculptures that are utterly beautiful, distinctly creepy and somehow completely true to nature. All this despite his medium being piles of bent metal and old rusty bicycles. "

A team of Oscar-winning producers are working on a film about the life and controversial death of Vincent Van Gogh. Called “Loving Vincent”, the film will be a feature-length hand-painted animation. According to reports, it is a technique that no one has ever tried.

With around 56,000 still images painted by 40 artists in the style of Vincent van Gogh, 'Loving Vincent' is billed as the world's first feature-length animated film made entirely through hand-painted canvasses.

(This one is mostly 'atmos' - with some brief non-English speaking interviews - starting @ about 3:20)

12 oil paintings per second, all done by over 100 painters trained in the same style.

I scaled this up from the original so I could upload it to YouTube while preserving the quality. Not monetized. Please share and support this film! "

I forgot about this topic. I feel expression or POV can be important even when it’s done only for oneself, or many. If it feels good to create, do it. This is from the sidewalk across the street on the 5th of July. The others are just from my ProCreate files.
