Fall issue 695 Quarterly On Line

Recommended Posts

Having been out of the country when we put this issue to bed, I was pleasantly surprised to see how it turned out. Many thanks to David Waelder for saving my ass (again!). He really deserves to be credited as co-author.

I wasn't aware of Courtney's excellent contribution until I saw the the final issue-look forward to reading the next installment.

Kudos once again to Richard Lightstone for keeping everyone on track-a truly thankless task....

Great publication but:

Does the Business Representative's page attribute the phrase, "A chicken in every pot and a car in every garage" to Roosevelt? That phrase was used by the Republican party in the 1928 election of Herbert Hoover - who brought us the Great Depression.

I've been wondering when or if someone would catch that. Yes, it's a goof. We caught it ourselves but one day too late - the publication had already gone to press. But we continue to be in sympathy with the opinions expressed by Jim Osburn in the article.
