curleysound
I browse Ebay all the time looking for good deals, or rare tools that might be handy at some point. I've been looking at lectros there, and saw this tid-bit in a listing for a 190: "Lectro 190's are tougher, more bullit proof wireless than their Lectro 195 big brothers since they use narrow band deviation or bandwidth." Does this seem to be true, anyone have any real info on this? Thanks, Tom
Philip Perkins
I did some jobs with both a 190 and my 195s when I first got them and the 195s blew the doors off the 190s. Sounded better, way more solid RF (diversity vs non). They are both crystal front ends (non tuneable). Be especially wary of the early 190s that have the TX antenna coming out of the bottom of the TX. Philip Perkins
jason porter
I agree with the your opinion of the older 190's. It sounds OK, but the bottom mounted antenna is a pain. More than anything, iT just gets in the way! -Jason
