t.elder
I'm curious if PD-6 owners have any worries about the continued availability of the Maxell DVD-RAM media used in this machine? Also, has Fostex released any kind of statement regarding a continued commitment of service and/or availability of parts? Tim
johngooch
So far no shortage of Discs. Fostex continues to update software and adding features that are not found on other recorders. I am an early adopter of the PD-6 and while it may not be as slick as other recorders, it is a workhorse. To date my recorder has not let me down. Hope this helps! john gooch
soundtrane
consumer video cameras use the small DVDRAM format, though in the round cartridge style, so i guess it wont go away soon. best -vin
