Jack Norflus
...and the 5th & 6th wheels are there for... what, exactly? Am I missing something? Climbing up stairs.
taylormadeaudio
Cool, I get it... I didn't think of that. And the added weight must be offset by the added convenience of an easier time getting up the occasional stairway. Speaking of weight, my cart weighs about as much as a Fisher 10, so it usually takes 3 or 4 linebacker-type guys to get the thing up a flight of stairs... I think I might just be due for a reincartnation. ~tt
RPSharman
It's a small cart, so I would think stair climbing wouldn't be an issue. I think it's a "cool" factor for sure, like lots of blinky LEDs!
Philip Perkins
Nice design, very clean and small. I don't exactly see the advantage of 6 small wheels over 2 20" types though. And it looks like you have to "lean" it to move it at all unless the front-stand flips up? phil p

I saw all sorts of wheeled devices with the stair climbing cluster, starting with "bundle buggies", when I first worked in Venice (Italy). I have seen hand trucks like the one in the link as well: http://www.handtrucksrus.com/CrashDetail.aspx?id=929&cx=gp ao
Laurence
Here's how they work... Hmmm... the YouTube embed won't work. Try this.... http://goo.gl/Lwv93 You might want to skip to 0:50.

old school
That is one of the best looking small case/cart designs I have seen. I see the 3 wheel design as an interesting design option, but for open fields and uneven terrain it would be better served w 20 in wheels which also go up stairs well IMO. Thanks for the picture. Pelle V
Really nice design! I like the way how monitors fold up. I'm interested what are the hinges in bigger front lid for? Are there more pictures? Pelle
