Ferdinand Almalvez
Hey Jeff, I just had a quick question, been looking to build my own vertical cart soon, I've been reading old threads about your new follow cart, the 80/20 material, and all that jazz. Anyway my question was, after youve got the framing down, excuse me for sounding naive but what did u use for the base of the shelf and how is it secured onto the frame? Thanks in advance! Jeff Wexler
The shelves, fixed and the one sliding shelf, are all made from raw aluminum right angle stock. I cut the aluminum, formed a frame and then put perforatred aluminum sheet stock for the surface. I did not use any off the shelf (pun?) rack mount products (like Mid Atlantic, etc.) for the shelves.
