Solvation from dumb devices VMWARE

Recommended Posts

If I'm not mistaken, this isn't running windows or Mac natively on the kindle, it's just a connection utility to a central server. Similar to 'ghost drives' and what schools have been doing for years. You would still need a computer running the operating system and the VMware thing opens up a window in which you can control the remote computer. You need a central server running both the operating system you want to use, and a VMware client controller, which you would log into via a network (wireless or otherwise) using a device running the VMware view app.

Agree.

But this is not just a simple Remote Access application and IMHO would be good enough for running Wave agent for emailing sound reports.

But the ideal solution will be Windows 8 tablets...
