Hello everyone! I'm nearing the end of my first year in the industry and I'm looking for jobs to do and people to meet! I'm available for boom op and utility work in France (and more than willing to travel if you'll have me), and have a place to stay in Lyon, Paris and Clermont-Ferrand. There’s a political event Monday I’m helping a friend find a sound guy for who’s filming for a candidate in South Carolina. anyone available Monday? Hi everyone, I am looking for someone that could record a live event at The University of Iowa on the evening of Monday Jan 27th. It is a live discussion panel that would need to be recorded as iso tracks as well as a stereo mix. The venue will provide all of the live sound, but I’m not sure how much of the recording equipment the venue can provide yet but this is what we are looking for. I’m guessing that you will need to provide some splitters, mics, cables and a multitrack recorder. We prefer 24/44.1 recordings but will accept 16/44.1 or mp3s at 192kbps or higher. I know very few details. It's 4 months. Paid? Maybe. How much? Don't know. If you don't know the show, it's months at sea chasing whaling ships with the Sea Shephard organization. It's perilous and intense. I'll try to find out more soon.
