Hey All, Dos Rios, a production company up here in Seattle, is looking for a Sound Mixer in the San Francisco area for a gig on July 17-18. I work for these guys fairly regularly and they're good peeps. The general jist of the job is following a local Seattle band, Car Seat Headrest, around on the street and getting they're interactions amongst themselves and people on the street. Don't know they're budget so there's that. Usually good rates though. If you're interested you can email Paul Breslin at paul@dosriosfilms.com. If you have any question pm me. I usually check in every morning. Enjoy, Matt

Hello, I am a production operations director representing a unit housed within Stanford University in the SF Bay Area, California. Hello- I'm looking for a sound person to help with a shoot that I am unavailable for, on June 19th at Town Hall in NYC. It will be a recording of a live performance for one night, with a possible rehearsal the night before. It is part of an ongoing documentary. There will be 5 Sony FS7s, which will each need to be TC sync'd via external boxes. Additionally, the bulk of the audio will be line-outs from the FOH mixer for the event. There is a possibility that a few lines of wireless will also be needed for the emcee and other performers as they enter and leave the backstage area, but this can be worked out with FOH and production. The rate is current…

Hi all, Can you please send me a private message if you’re available to record a lav (to match production sound) on the upper west side tomorrow at 4:30pm. Just you with the actor in his apartment. Probably less than an hour to get some added lines. Tell me what you’d have to have for compensation. I know this is a simple job, but you’re representing me as the producer on an $80k film we shot a few months ago, so it means a lot to me. I’d prefer someone with narrative film/TV experience who works with actors daily. Boom ops and utilities are good too. Just want someone who knows the “vibe” of dealing with a layed back but…

Hi! My name is Nathan Romer, a sound assistant/boom operator (and beginner mixer) based in the Lower Mainland. I'm looking for opportunities to learn and grow as a sound professional. Working with audio is something I've been passionate about my whole life. However, it's more than just sound that I want to expand on. Critical decision making skills, client interactions, and problem solving on set are areas that I want to flourish in on top of audio. I've worked on corporate interviews, short films, webseries, features and commercials. If you're interested in growing your team, or just letting me tag along on a shoot, don't hesitate to contact me! My email is n…

Hello! Trying to be modest here. Anyway, I'm available in Moscow. I usually work with foreigners here, doing mostly documentaries and corporates, but have done my first feature last year as well. Currently I own a smaller kit with SD's 633, 4x 2000 series senny wireless, Sanken mics and Ambient nanolockits. I am willing to travel as well, if there's such need. My webpage is baranovsound.com Thanks, everyone.

Hey everyone, My name is Tim Camey and I have just moved to the Atlanta area and am really looking forward to working in the production audio world. I graduated from SCAD in 2015 with a BFA in Sound Design and a focus in production audio and game sound design. I have spent the better part of the last three years working in my hometown of Springfield, Missouri as a cassette mastering engineer at the National Audio Company. Now that I have some savings under my belt and some starter equipment I am looking to start working as a sound utility or as a boom op as soon as I can so that I can become a part of the Atlanta film making community! Feel free to…

Hi gang, I'm trying to help out a crew I had the pleasure of working with recently by putting them in touch with a local South Korean sound mixer. I can't recommend these guys highly enough, they were amazing to work with, very laidback, unpretentious, humble and generally just a joy to be around. The job is sort of ENG/reality, essentially it's a branded doco, but very easy gig, generally no more than a boom and one wireless mic, occasionally a second, seperate recorder and a wireless scratch track to camera + TC. Hit me up if you're based in South Korea (or know of anyone who is) and I'll pass on some details. Thanks!

Hey there! I'm a recently graduated 28-year old soundie from Helsinki, Finland. Did my bachelor's at Tampere University of Applied Sciences, the degree programme in Film and Television. Guess what I specialized in? I started doing odd audio jobs in the local industry while studying, and at graduation I already have experience from a feature film and a 10 part drama series in addition to some ads and corporate stuff. I have a 633 and some mics of my own, and I'm working on getting wireless gear. I speak and write pretty good English and I keep an international circle of friends, so I'll get along with people from outside Finland just fine. I'm very solution oriented…
