  1. Mine too. Safari on iPhone. Some pictures are stretched vertically and some look okay.
  2. Yep. They do. It's the sync cable to connect tentacle to tentacle or to connect to DSLRs. They gave me three of the stereo cables. One was supposed to be the 3.5mm "4-pin", but they must have mixed it up by mistake. Not a big deal. I dug through an old box of cables and connectors and found a couple in there. It's just a little disappointing considering that not only did they not give me this cable, but I've also learned that most people have received multi-colored bands for marking tentacles and all of mine are one single color. Meh. Also not a big deal, but the two combined is a little disappointing. Still like the product, particularly for the price.
  3. My main pole is getting to be a hassle for travel so I'm looking at the K-102CCR. In fact I rarely go beyond 9' extended, so this could potentially become my primary pole. I'm curious, since it is 2'3" (69cm) if it fits comfortably in a suitcase or Peli 1610 diagonally? How many here are traveling with this pole? Thanks!
  4. Very nice. Curious about how you did the zippers. Did you sew them?
  5. Rado: How are the zippers attached? Are they sewn?
  6. Yep. Transport controls shouldn't be so close to the bottom of the faders. Resting palms (a common position for mixing) becomes a little dangerous for comfort.
  7. Glad you found the cable. My kit, however, did not come with that cable. I bought two of every cable they had and ended up with three TRS 3.5mm cables. No 4-pin.
  8. Bump. I'd really love to see see either the Maxx or 633 with two or three SRbs or 411s in the main compartment. I'm thinking about using this bag for my Maxx along with a pair of wideband Lectro dual channel units when they eventually come out. I'm assuming they'll be roughly the size of the SRb or 411. For now I'm using a pair of LRs in the original Stingray to get me by. Photos from users!!! I'm also curious if the waist belt is suitable for light and short running with this bag, or if a harness is still advisable. Not happy with the Orca harness. The new K-Tek harness looks really nice, but possibly overkill for such a small bag. However I need to be able to move quickly in it.
  9. I actually liked the idea of this as a karaoke setup, but then I thought about 8 drunk people singing into microphones and changed my mind...
  10. For those using either the sna600 or the DIY dipole, how many of you are simply using passive splitters like the lectro zfsc successfully? Secondarily, why not just put some Velcro on the SNAs and on the front of the bag and mount them that way? Easy pull off when packed. That was my plan.
  11. Thanks everyone. Decided that single battery units probably won't cut it. Now looking at the new LT instead. Thanks!
  12. Appreciate it, Jim. Since I'm often the only sound on set, I'd like to avoid changing until lunch. The SMQV and newer LT series look doable.
  13. I've read this, but I appreciate you posting it here. This is the article I was referring to with the 3.5 − 4 hour life. Any experiences from people running 2500 mAh Eneloop Pros? Thanks.
  14. Considering the Lecro SM for a small and inexpensive TX, but I'm concerned about life on a single AA. I believe Lectro mentions around 3.5 − 4 Hrs on a 2200 mAh NiMH. I'm running 2500 Eneloop Pros. Anyone have any real world battery ratings for the SM with a similar battery? 4 hours won't cut it for me. If that's pretty accurate, I'll have to go with one of the 2-battery options. Thanks.
  15. I've considered that. I don't like to carry stuff on me when I don't need to. I think a belt pouch is something I'll pick up, but I'd also like a solution for when a pouch isn't going to be needed.
  16. Nothing changed. Same media. I installed 2.24 after I started having issues because it apparently resolved some mirroring issues with 2.18. Folder name was simple date convention 150706 (as an example). Scene (file) names were various. Some short single names or numbers, some longer with underscores. I've reached out to Zaxcom but I don't have the time to send them the files needed right now. Just got home and am going straight to bed for another early morning. The point is that the official release worked for me for a long time then suddenly started having issues, so it's definitely possible that official releases have bugs, just like most any other system.
  17. I had no problems either for several months. Until two weeks ago.
  18. Same issue here with Maxx and seemingly random missing files. Started a couple of weeks ago while using 2.18 and continues now with 2.24. I've contacted support finally now that I have a moment without work, but it's good to know who is having the issue.
  19. What are you using? I've been using a small gutted CD case to carry around my tape and scissors. I like it because it's compact and soft enough to squish down a little in a case. It works okay, but nothing is secure within. This became a problem on a recent job involving a sail boat in some rocky waters. Time to move on. Thanks.
  20. Does that BST-75 play well next to Lectros in a bag? I know the 216 w/ Opt 7 is best separated a bit.
  21. Thank you, Christian! More input welcome.
  22. I'm liking this the Manfrotto options. for clarification, I'm looking specifically for stands to use locally, not for travel. They don't have to be super compact. Thanks again!
  23. Comteks can be had for a little less I find, but the EK 1039 looks like a good option. Mostly curious about range, reliability, sound quality (for IFB and scratch only), and dummy-proofing. For the Comtek I'd use a 216 w/ Opt 7 from my bag. For the Sennheiser I'd use a G3 TX from bag. Anyone with direct comparisons? Thanks!
