  1. Thanks for all the options. Its a "reality" tv program. They want to record a stereo amb, 4 Lavs and a signal from a tv (but that can go through to the embedders without being recorded). And want the outs from the tv, stereo amb, mono mix of all lavs and isolated 4 lavs, that makes the 8 outs all analog. The AJA ADA4 seems like the best solution all around.
  2. Hey guys, I'm preparing for a job where I have to deliver 8 different signals from a 633 and all in analog, so my only hope is find a way to convert the 2 main AES out to 4 analog. Do you know what could I need? Renting another recorder is not an option with the budget I'm having to deal with. Thanx.
  3. U also have this one. http://www.boomlibrary.com/boomlibrary/products/historical-firearms
  4. Will do some training at home this week. Not anything risky at jobs. Thanx for the advice! Please do! I would love to see this. Great threat! Arman.
  5. The moment I started watching the video I was thinking almost the same as Thunderbolt did but the thing is that it didn't sound bad at all.... it sounded pretty damn fine to me. Since I'm young and I've been mainly educated in digital sound, I've always been told not to move my faders that much, that i shouldn't change that much the Voice/background ratio, that this is done in pro tools in post with the ISO tracks. I guess I just learned something new today! Thanks to Thunderbolt for posting and the rest for explaining. Now I've got to do some fader riding training and try it in my next short!!
  6. I see that I'm not the only one that don't find comfortable the placement of the upper holder. I'm using carabiners as well on the corners of my Orca 30.
  7. I use the Think Tank HP Hook on the side of my Orca, almost the same as Matt Martin's solution. Fast unclipping and very reliable. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/882570-REG/think_tank_photo_365_headphone_hook_with_speed.html Enviado desde mi iPhone utilizando Tapatalk
  8. Yes, not a dual reciever. Enviado desde mi iPhone utilizando Tapatalk
  9. I had them yesterday in my hands and took this pic to show the size. Didn't get to hear them, the distributor stand didn't allow us to but they felt very well made and light.
