Well, its not as bad as I thought. With my headphones (and normal level) I can hear 17k in the right ear, but only 16k in left ear. Unfortunately, the tinnitus is still there. I'm 45.

14k seems to match my tinnitis. Can't hear 15k on these cheap computer speakers. I'll have to try with the headphones, or through the stereo.

Just checked ebay, and Sennheiser G2s in the "C" band are still getting good money. They are handy, but I may dump mine while they still have some value.
