  3. Perhaps a strategically placed coffee mug? https://www.redbubble.com/i/mug/Sound-Speeds-STFU-by-dgirtsman/74031572.9Q0AD
  4. This is just for fun! I do not condone rude or aggressive behavior on set! https://www.redbubble.com/i/t-shirt/Sound-Speeds-STFU-by-dgirtsman/74031572.WFLAH
  5. I definitely wouldn't add external power for booming. I actually like the sound of the preamp for a front end in my studio and would like to get away from batteries for this use.
  6. I've done a search on the boards but haven't turned up anything. Does anyone have a recommendation for an external power supply? Thanks!
  7. I apologize if this has already been covered. I did a search and didn't come up with anything. I'm looking for bag recommendations for the mixpre-10, some wireless, bds, you know, a pretty standard setup. Is anyone using something that they really like? Thanks!
  8. I'm wondering if anyone happened to be at NAB and heard the Deity W Lav? I'm very interested to see how the W Lav Micro holds up against a cos-11.
  9. You asked for silly... I've just released the first few episodes of my new podcast on iTunes. It's very silly, a bit like Dr. Demento on mild hallucinogens. https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/random/id1450102098 Enjoy!
  10. I've had pretty good luck with the Ursa mini mounts. Has anyone tried the Bubblebee lav concealer or the Hide-A-Mic B Flex yet? I'm interested in hearing some reviews on those.
  11. Does anyone know if there's an option in Premiere to view poly file metadata, most importantly, track names? I I spent half of yesterday doing a bunch of scouring on the interwebs trying to help out an editor that isn't familiar with poly files (because I'm a nice guy) and it looks like there is not.... I have FCP and the track names that I add in to my SD 633 are plain as day. See screenshot below: Thanks!
  12. Seeing as how most of you have only been doing this for twenty years or so, I thought I'd share one of my helpful tutorials. You're welcome!
  13. Has anyone here had a chance to listen to one (in person) yet? If so, what are your thoughts?
  14. This may help? Watch starting around 3:30
