San Disk ultra 64g running 6 channels 24/96 Cards are the same ones ive been using.

Has anybody else been having issues again with the speed error on the sd cards? Ever since i did the update in dec i started having them again ever other time i use the deck. Thanks

Will you guys ever enable mono tracks in a firmware update for us guys that do long recordings? To avoid the poly file. Love the deck but if you do long sessions its a pain in the butt. Thanks

Test Picture is the Poly Opened,Project Picture is the Poly Wave,So thats what I'm talking about! Its crazy dealing with that when you just need some of it without going threw all that to get what you need.

Yes it breaks it up into tons of files which is a major pain in the butt,record 6 channel non stop for 8 hrs and the file breaks are insane,I do use wave agent to deal with it,If you could do straight 6 channel mono files wouldn't have a ton of file breaks in it that the poly file creates.Makes post work a nightmare.Then you could just pull what you want off the card without opening up a can of worms.

So I put the new firmware and recorder to the test recorded a festival for 4 days about 30 hrs plus 8 hrs straight and it held up solid running 4 channel and some 6 channel stuff! Good job no errors,only thing I personally would like to see is a mono file selection the polys suck when recording 8 hrs straight.

No my backup was suppose to be card slot 2 or 1 with the speed card error issue,But the 2.3 completely screwed me levels looked great but it was a trick .

Got me the same night too 6 channels of noise Levels looked fine was running for about 4 hrs came back to hotel found the surprise,I had the same exact thing happen ,I emailed him about the 2.3 soon as i had it happen he got right back to me.My issue with 2.2 is speed error issues,Now twice with 2.2 i have had the deck crash and lose everything or one card get the speed error issue and the other one do what it should and back it up,Put another card in same brand and get the next 2 hrs down no crash but all 6 of my cards now have done it like that. I had zero issues prior to that.Always seems to happen right at 20 mins sometimes 1 min into a show.Hope they can fix everything i personal just need the mono tracks not poly files and the speed card error addressed.Love the deck and Got some great recordings out of 6 shows i did get.

I just sent them a email and explained step by step the issues i was having for the 3 nights i was using it.yea i had zero issues til i did the update.

Hello i just updated to the newest firmware and now im having card speed issues had a complete crash the night before im using the san disk ultra 64g had no issues til i did the update last night had 1 card have the same issue but the backup card did work last night.Im running 4 channel 24/96 about 3 hrs plus time wise,Is there anyway i can roll back to the firmware? Cant afford anymore crashes.

Yea thats what ive been doing, Im on a mac so ive been using wave agent/audacity/Amadeus Pro/Xact.Running 6 channel Poly splits them around 28 mins 4g( I think can remember right off hand) so that's a lot of piecing going on. Audacity will open 4 channel Poly no issues,6 channel locks it up.Hoping they will give that Mono feature after the 2.0 update. I also wonder will the new firmware version 2.0 will allow you to record in non poly files,Editing a 3 hr concert 6 channels at 24/96 is madness.
