  1. Yes it will tell you all the coverage they have. I get one for every production I'm on and when I also rent out gear to other people. Very important and I also have my own insurance as well. I have my insurance agent and attorney verify everything for me to be 100%. Nicole
  2. Our conversation almost got heated but I decided to just say it's best if I not except the job. Then told them have a great day.
  3. I agree. I spoke with Brook and I asked him where can he rent 8 wireless for $200? He was like I know it's low and you will kind of have to suck it up and I was like no I won't because I'm declining the job. I said they needed to offer more and no one wanted to do that. Nicole
  4. They are still looking and me and two other people have declined it. Heads up you will need 8 wireless, 2 ifbs, and they want 5 channel mixer and no iso tracks I had a very big discussion with the quote on quote audio senior mixer. They will NOT give you more money BUT they need a mixer by tomorrow. So maybe they will up the rate. Nicole
  5. The PS607 is a better option and can hold a 302 and 744 with no problem and fits perfectly. Nicole
  6. Yeah thats pretty low for labor and gear. Especially needing the wires, hops, and then an IFB. That's already over $200 rental for gear. Maybe they will negotiate and offer more. Nicole
  7. If I wasn't booked I would take the gig. Keep us posted Jim. I'm curious as to what's the rate and what gear they want and camera their using. Nicole
  8. Nice. What was this for? What mic? Nicole
  9. Michael McQueen is in NC. He might be interested. Nicole
  10. I have used both and never had an issue. I own the 211's and they work great. The thing I like about the 411a is you can do group frequencies but you can't do it on the 211 and according to Lectrosonics it can't be upgraded to do it either. Nicole
  11. What's your main recorder. Nicole
  12. Love my Tascam HS-P82 it works a charm for me and Tom has been a great asset with helping out. Thanks for coming over. Nicole
  13. I use ipower and they work great. Nicole
  14. Nice little trick. Nicole
  15. Jim I sent your info for some gigs coming up in May as well. Should be getting a call or text soon. Let me know how it goes. Miss you guy!!! Nicole
  16. Very nice. I like this Chris. Nicole
  17. You can adjust the output level via the touch screen mixer. you can always use a y cable or use a mixer for more routing options. Nicole
  18. You can route any or all 8 channels to the two mix track or you can have it not be recorded in the mix but still being recorded as an iso track as long as the track is armed. Your choice. Just realized you were referring to the control surface. Sorry about that what I wrote is in regards to the recorder it self. Go to link below there is great info and it's all users who own the Tascam. http://www.trewaudio.com/audioflow/2010/02/26/hands-on-the-tascam-hs-p82/ Nicole
  19. Own it and have not had any issues with the timecode. It works like a charm. The Tascam is a very good machine for its price range. it's not as heavy as it seems and works fine in a bag or on a cart. I use a Comer battery with p tap that goes to the dc power and if battery settings are setup correctly I get almost a full day battery run and then I have a NP-1 inside battery compartment as a backup to keep power continuously going. It's all touch screen and easy to use and their is a support topic for it over a Trew Audio and Tom Duffy is always helping out. It can do dual cf card recording and that works great. If you do lose power while recording you will not lose that file or make it corrupt. Upon re powering it will load and search for that project to allow you to see all files. Preamps are good with or without a mixer. When using in a bag I don't use a mixer and when on a cart I use a Mackie in front of it. Overall a great recorder. Nicole
  20. Here are two of my bags. Small/Light Bag-4 or less channels Big/Heavier Bag(not that heavy)-5+ Channels
