  1. Get a mixer. the 302 sounds great in front of the dr40. I own it and love the combo. I use it for non time code shoots and as backup for wireless hop ENG gigs. I also like the fact you can label file names on the fly and you can do dual recording as a safety. Very nice recorder. Nicole
  2. Looking for sound mixer local to Detroit for a client of mines. Gig is scheduled for April 25-29. Gig is paid. Please contact me here or email me at ccproductions803@gmail.com. Gear needed: 4 wireless lavs, boom mic, 4 channel recorder. Very simple shoot which follows the life of Marvin Sapp and his 3 kids. Looking for someone ASAP. Thanks Nicole
  3. Thanks for the imformation. Where you using the 302 for this shoot? Nicole
  4. Wow I'm very impressed. Do you use that same mic for indoors? I'm wondering if all the issues with these mics have been fixed(cracking noise, etc).. I am in the maket for a new mic and loved the sound of the mkh60 which I believe this mic is very similar to that other thsn on the 60 you have roll off capabilities. Have you used both? Nicole
  5. Looks like a lot of people were boomed and it still sounds very good and clear. What type of wind noise protection were you using? Nicole
  6. Anyone here make their own? Is it cheaper to make or buy? I have done some searching and the cables I found were $35 and up. Maybe I'm not searching properly. Any input would be great. Thanks Nicole
  7. Dave will take care of you. Great mics and great price. I own 6 TL-40 mics. Nicole
  8. As soon as TC features are avaIlable I will def upgrade. I finally got an iPhone so now this is even better than using on my iPad.

  14. Awesome cool. Thanks for the info. Seems like this recorder will do the trick. Nicole
  15. Tascam Dr-40 anyone here using one? Are you able to name files and if so how easy/fast is it on the fly? Thanks for any input. I did read the manual but it doesn't go into much details but again I could have missed/overlooked info. Nicole
  16. Do you know if that charger will charge IDX L7S NP 1 batteries? Thanks Nicole
  17. Congrats!!! God bless you and your family. Nicole
  18. Are you by chance in Georgia? That company sounds just like a company I know of that has pretty much the same gear/issues. I just did a promo commercial and they wanted me to use their gear. Luckily I was able to get a prep day to properly setup everything because there stuff was a mess with cables and batteries all over the place. Nicole
  19. I use the M-Audio Microtrack 24/96 and it works great. They can be bought used for dirt cheap. Got mines for 20 bucks. The only downfall is the internal battery(discussed already) but I bypass that by using a USB power cable I made for it. Works great when doing straight to camera or run and gun eng with hops as a back up. Have you made a selection yet? Nicole
  20. Was thec744T the only recorder you were using? Nicole
