Using LectroSM/COS11 & hard wired boom (Sanken CS1) for interviews last couple of days. trim +3 and pots about 3 oclock into Sony F3 cam, monitor return set to +20. No noticeable noise floor from nomad, and producer said he LOVES the way the boom sounds! Far better than the lav.... That just made my day....

my point exactly.... too bad that sometimes they don't actually work but mess things up instead... just like v 2.99

Its kind of odd that every time new versions are released there's a list of "bugs" that got fixed from previous versions...

I guess I just have very bad luck... Wouldn't be great if things just worked out on the first time?

BTW...I did three different backups of my settings to both internal and mirror cards. Its just seems ridiculous that software updates get released without proper testing....

It certainly is... Got my VRF when it just came out and cant justify getting rid of it... Rarely carry the VRF bag, but when I do I use a versaflex harness

What is the use of the blue LED's on front panel anyways? Would it be possible to implement such LED to display armed tracks?

Maybe making the track Names turn red on the main input screen when enabled? That way you woud know that the track you see signal coming in is actually enabled to record or not , giving you a chence to go to the card menus and enable the appropiate track.

Yea, get rid of them non rec tracks... and I'm also missing a confidence monitor screen. Is that possible?

Hey Guys, Is there a shorcut to view/check for REC enabled tracks? I accidentlaly recorded wrong "enabled" tracks last week and wasn't very funny.... It actually screwed me up pretty bad... I'd suggest a red dot indicating "record enabled" tracks on the input screen or elwhere neccesary. Thanks, S.

Hey Guys, Just got my Nomad 6 yesterday and trying to figure things out. First, i have a brakeaway cable made by Trew and my HP return is on 1&2.... How do I access that on my HP? do I need to make a custom HP mix or there's a shorcut for it. Also, cant find a way to name scenes and take numbers!!! And, there's a shortcut for false takes?!?! Thanks
