  1. Thanks Ben/Larry-- y'all are the best! C Where would he find the coax with SMA ends? Radioshack?
  2. Can't tell if you're joking? If not, can you explain?
  3. I have a buddy about to do a gig in Denver tonight (not from Denver, so unfamiliar with the area) who is the unfortunate situation of having received a 411 and um400 with no antennaes. 1) anyone know of any places out there that he can purchase these from easily? 2) if not, does anyone have any RadioShack DIY suggestions? Keeping my fingers crossed!
  4. I'm confused... Do you need the IFB200 in addition to the 235? I'm hoping it's either or?
  5. Oh heck yeah! Where can I get this firmware update? MAXXXXXXXXX! PS-- Way to go Zaxcom folks! now just waiting for that IFB200 module Really glad that it works with the 235! C
  6. You have no idea how stoked I am about this bag-- particularly with the collapsible "underwear"! Also for the Maxx bag with collapsible underwear...
  7. Meaning you don't use ERX's at all any more? Or switch out when you need more range? No luck with a booster of some sort for the ERX's?
  8. However, it would be WAY cooler if the Maxx could have an IFB200 module instead of a camera link module so we don't have to take up more bag real estate. Any plans for that?
  9. W00t! zaxnet+ Maxx = something I will DEFINITELY use all the time.
  10. We were also lucky enough to be some of the beta-testers, and I have to say, the 664 bag is FANTASTIC. Will definitely be preordering. C

    Theremini

I prefer the minimum theremin by harrison instruments: http://www.harrisoninstruments.com/101/101_description.html
  12. I also think that being able to remove the "underpants" with zippers would make the stingray much more versatile.
  13. I'm looking to do more post for features. If Janine is okay working with a studio in NYC, I'd be willing to take a look at the film. Once I spot the film, I can give my thoughts about what is needed. C
  14. The new Pro-Sound is awesome! So glad to have folks like you in the city!

    633 Bags

I think that the Stingray for 633/Maxx is awesome! However, I feel like having the "underpants" on the outside able to be removed via zippers would make it much more versatile i.e. able to fit in Pelican cases etc by temporarily reducing width... anyone else with similar or opposing thoughts? I think this would be a good idea for the Nomad and 664 Stingrays as well...
  16. I try to get full kit rate on travel days, but sometimes production pushes back pretty hard. +1 on pretty much everything Michael said
  17. Thanks for the clarification, Jim! Cheers, C
  18. Surly Big Dummy is an awesome name for a bike. Have you done anything to specialize it for gear travel? (I'm not very familiar with cargo bikes and am not sure what they look like...)
  19. What's a Zucca bag-- do you have any photos? Thanks!
  20. I saw someone skateboarding with a small rolling pelly behind them today. I'm not that coordinated, but it was sure neat. Looked like a DSLR package.
  21. Greg--Yeah, cab prices have gotten pretty nuts... Productions have begun to get weird about them (as if I had anything to do with that, though). --- Rafael, did you ever charge production for any of the different bu options? -- Anybody have a small interview rig that they can bicycle with/ has anyone rigged up a bike for safe travel with gear?
  22. I have to admit I'm not familiar-- will definitely take a look!
  23. From what I've noticed, in Europe folks are favoring Nuendo and Logic. And in the states, more and more music folks are going Reaper/Logic
  24. There are a lot of people who claim that Pro-Tools is the only DAW that is appropriate to do anything with. These people are full of it, and are just repeating what they've heard from others. Many DAWs out there have the same (or BETTER) features.
