  1. Hello, I am looking for a sound recordist to record 2 interior interviews in Boston on December 4 2023 from 11am to 3pm. If you are interested or know anybody who would be available please email: chet.wesley@gmail.com I am reaching out on their behalf to help find someone at the last minute. Thank you!
  2. Thanks. I am loving the DSR4. It is straight forward if you are already familiar with the SR series receivers. Great buttons, great screen! I use an Audio Wireless DADM224 for an rf distro, but I didn't build it into the bag for that particular shoot in order to save on weight, haha! Shoutout to the modular soundbag dashboards for keeping things in place!
  3. Most recent configuration: SD833 DSR4 SRB Audioroot eSMART BG-DH MKII Comtek M-216 Betso Bowties
  4. I would be out in the field with a 788. Looking to send a mix in real time through a telephone to a client. Thanks for the input!
  5. Does anyone have a reliable system to send a mix to a cell phone for a client to monitor in a far away land? Interested in android and ios solutions. I am hearing mixed reviews about the jk audio gear (was looking into the jk audio bluedriver). Looking into various trs to cell phone adaptors, and the rode i-xlr. Any insight into this situation would be greatly appreciated! Cheers, and stay safe out there!
  6. Thanks to all for the replies. Very helpful!
  7. I have a couple UCR 195D receivers tuned to 592.350MHz and 605.125MHz respectively. Would I be able to tune a block 23 SM transmitter to exactly these frequencies? Anyone else have experience using these receivers with newer transmitters? Thanks!
  8. Thanks Trey. I assumed so, but I couldn't find a definitive answer anywhere!
  9. Will the LT transmitters work with the Srb receiver?
  10. Hey Jez, New Brunswick is certainly not as humid as the tropics, but where I am located can become quite humid in the summer. I had the mkh50 start squealing and give out while shooting an interior scene on a particularly humid day. Had to switch it for the 416 which has proven unstoppable! Cheers, Blue
  11. No problems with RF, but I have had my mkh50 succumb to humidity!
  12. Cool. I'm going to test out dialling my MM-1 back a couple a notches to 36db for use with my 416s and see if it cleans up the signal in a noticeable way.
