  1. I have a 85” Samsung Q80r, Devialet Phantom, and an Apple TV. Don’t have a theater room, but it’s in my living room. I really enjoy my setup
  2. Ah man wish I knew how this worked earlier! Thank you. Game changer If I could do this without my laptop, super slick
  3. Oh cool. Thank you. I need to mess with this today. Thanks!
  4. Thanks for the tip! Unfortunately I don’t have time to hook up my laptop in these situations as I’m bagged up and running around run and gun doc style reality. But if I do, I’ll do that for sure
  5. You got it. Yeah it’s a weird thing. If it keeps coming loose, might want to consider using loctight or get a new screw? Something like that. I’ve never done it though, might wanna doublecheck it’s safe to do. Cheers
  6. Lectrosonics Tumbler? Just connect some whips to it and it rolls around town getting the sounds and freqs? is it TC compatible though?
  7. Top drawers are my Lectro Tx’s, and Betso TCX-2s. I lent an SMWB and an LR to a friend right now. If work picks up, I’ll prob go with Lectrosonics new R1B’s and buy a couple more LRs and ditch all my Sennheiser stuff. They good thing right now though is everything I have runs on AA’s or Hi-Qs. I have the Sony L-types for if I turn an SRC into stereo cam hop or to power a little SmallHD monitor I have on those days I’m sitting for at a cart. Which are not often, I do a lot of reality Tv. I have different cases coming for my Lavs, smaller ones. Right now I’m in the middle of switching from Cos-11d’s to DPA 6061s. I’m a DPA fanboy for sure. I use 4017c and 4018c for booms. Wanna be able to have 6x 6061s in each drawer. After the Lavs it’s kinda a Misc drawer, TC Cables, an HMA, straps, Velcro, condoms, memory cards, and that SmallHD monitor. Hi-Q smart batts. I don’t miss NP-1s. Next is the Headphones/IFB drawer. Then my bottom drawer has my iPad, Betso Slate, rain covers and a few BNC connections. When I’m on the cart I have Betso Sharkies and use SNA600s for transmissions from the cart. If I’m bagged up I’m using Betso Bowties and Whips for transmissions. im also using Cinela Cosi’s for my booms. A purchase I wish I made when they came out. They are sooo good.
  8. It’s called a Tanos systainer I think. I ordered them from a finish carpentry supply place called Woodcraft. I dig it. you have to modify the cart for the drawers to mount to it though. I few little things. I really dig it though.do you wanna see what I did with the drawers?
  9. Hey no problem. I have a mini cart, I love it.
  10. I feel like it’s pretty solid. I use it with Betso Bowties. I get good range. I’ve been bagging it doing a reality Tv show for a year now with it. Few bugs in the beginning, but they seem to be ironed out. Current firmware is treating me well. I’m sure it wouldn’t be too hard to figure out fixing rack ears to the rear as the unit is light and spacious-ish inside. Not sure if lectrosonics sells something like that. Do you have a Sound Cart mini and want to rack it on the half rack? That would be cool. I’ve thought about that. Get like 3 DSQDs and 888 or Scorpio would be a sweet setup, especially cause it plays with wireless designer. I cant speak to Dante usage, I’m still on 6 series and go analog. I just turn the Dante module off to save battery life.
  11. It’s happened on every 416 I’ve ever used. That screw comes loose, and then it sounds like garbage
  12. Tighten the flathead screw on body, report back
  13. I’d be happy to Beta test it! Sweet!
  14. Hey this a reach out to the lectrosonics people. i have a DSQD in a bag with an SD633. The way I have my routing is Channel 1 DSQD in Channel 2 of 633, Channel 2 DSQD in Channel 5 of 633, Channel 3 DSQD in Channel 3 of 633, Channel 4 DSQD in Channel 6 of 633. My reasoning for this routing is that I use Ratio mode on the DSQD and the big knobs on the 633 until I need more channels then I switch to switch mode on the DSQD and then use the additional small faders on the 633. The problem I have is that when I switch from ratio mode to switch mode on the DSQD, the new available channel for a different Tx mirrors what I was just on for ratio mode. id rather show up for a shoot, have the DSQD is switch mode for all 4 channels, coordinate for 4 Tx’s, Sync up my Tx’s, switch to ratio mode for two Tx’s cause most of my shoot is 2 Tx’s, then when a new talent come into play and I switch to switch mode it remembers what my previous coordination was before in switch mode rather than mirroring what it was set to in Ratio mode. I hope that makes sense. Cause right now I have to pull up freqfinder, and then reset channels 2 and 4 on the DSQD. Doesn’t take too long, but we all know how little time we get in the sound department... Am I the only one that thinks this way? Thanks! -Chris
  15. I use a DPA 4017c outside and a 4018c inside with Cosi Mounts. Love em, they are very forgiving off axis. Sanken CS3e is very directional, but a bit brighter. I used to have one, but I like the DOA sound better. DPA sounds very natural, and the mics are very light and small. Cinela Cosi’s are cheating
  16. My DPA 4018c. stupid light, small, sounds fantastic. the cinela Cosi is just cheating too
  17. It’s cool that they are small but I wish they used AA’s. Everything I have uses AA’s. I thought at least they would have put a line out as well...
  18. Haven’t got to try them out yet, but I have a feeling I’m gonna like em
