  1. Do you think the ZFSC-2-4+ would work equally? Or is it the BNC version you meant? Thank you
  2. I was now also suggested BNC T-Pieces, incidentally I even have one and they cost just a tenth of the mini-circuit parts. What's the reason for going for the mini circuit parts? Or do the simple BNC splitters do the same? Thank you
  3. Thank you for the response, Larry! Yes, that's is why I mentioned it... Would you mind stating which ones to get? I don't mind buying the "resold" ones, since I can easily order them through a store here from you guys.
  4. Hello! I have been thinking of how to get antenna distribution for a few months, but have yet to actually pull through because everybody seems to be telling me something different. What I have is two DCR822 lectros with sna600a (which I plan to replace with betso bowtie), and currently I'm using the antennas just on one receiver. I work from a bag. Now, I was told at my local retailer to definitely get a BSRF system, which they sell, because I lose 4dB gain in a distro wlsewise. But another retailer in Germany (kortwich) that make passive and active systems specifically told me not to go active if I don't plant to use long cables. My only issue is, that all these distribution systems are huge and if at all possible I would like to shrink down stuff as much as possible. Now in the Facebook group somebody suggested this one: https://www.minicircuits.com/WebStore/dashboard.html?model=ZFSC-2-2-S%2B Which, if it is the correct one, should be ideal I think? So what I need is advice on what system I should get or avoid... Should I definitely go passive? Is there a system like the BSRF AS-62 but smaller? Or should I go active to fix gain lost from distribution? Thanks a lot!
  5. I have a white one and a black one. They are really slim, maybe like 1mm. Don't know about the portabrace velcro overs, but it might fit - however due tj it being made of silicone it has very strong grip/ causes a lot of friction, so it might be hard to squeeze into another bag if it's tight. Another thing I would like to add is, that the xlr side of the cover is wide, because it's meant for handhelds. That means that water could easily get inside form the top if you use an xlr cable (see picture).
  6. Sadly I'm having the same issue. I say sadly, because other than that the Nano Shield is really amazing but the resonance it creates is crazy and I had my client tell me that "I did cause a lot of handling noises". Now I'm a bit worried of using it again. The last thing I want is to lose a client... Edit: Apparently Rycote fixed/is fixing the problem and Timo will take care of this! Soooo I'll be happy and the clients also
  7. That's strange, I've never had a microdot adapter loosen. Although I've discovered old versions with lemo adapter have an o ring and new ones don't. Maybe it has something to do with this and you have old microdot lemo adapters that are missing the o ring?
  8. Interesting question, you should probably send rycote a message about that and report back
  9. Sorry for off-topic question, but what did happen? All I know is camera operator was killed by Alec Baldwin, sadly. Does it have to do with the strike?
  10. Not the case. I do have transmitters, but I can guarantee that's not the problem, because they weren't in use when I had issues. Didn't even have batteries.
  11. I'll definitely try that, I'm shooting abroad right now with company's equipment, but I'll have to figure out how to separate these things. Or how to monitor the SRc. I'm using a Mixpre 10T II in an Orca Bag, which technically has an rf insulated divider. I'm on Block A1.
  12. I for one have been having lots of troubles with my SRc and SSMs and have no idea why. Store where I bought it helped me troubleshoot, suggested the sna600a, so I got two and it didn't help. Settings are all correct (they checked). Smart tuning doesn't help, sometimes I get disturbances at 3m. Ridiculous. My G4 sadly have almost as much range, but have less disturbances at close range. Not sure I can recommend lectro yet... something seems very wrong with my system, or maybe its the SSM that apparently nobody uses? Any suggestions will be gratefully accepted!
  13. I use the slate mic on my Mixpre 10T II exactly for that.
  14. I couldn't find any either so I recently went with SRc because of the great deal Lectro is offering right now (5o year anniversary).
  15. I'm smaller than most here it seems, but my solution is sorting boxes where I keep everything tidy. Mics are in zip lock bags inside the bag for the transmitters.
  16. I'm interested in your solution. What kind of RF shield cloth did you use, and how?
  17. Recently somebody commented it and it made me think. Since I'm usually the only sound guy on set I never see others boom, except for the few times I had an operator - and those didn't do that. So what I often do is put the boom on my head and hold the rear side with one hand and use my head as a lever, so I have my front hand free. Doesn't cause coises from my clicking elbow or moving my hands, which is nice. So. Am I the only one? Because then it might be something cultural, having grown up in Guatemala where people carry stuff on their head lol
  18. I've had the same issue, but with the PDW xdcam. Not inky that but also I couldn't put my peak levels at above - 10dB on the cam or it would completely distort. Which wouldn't be a problem for me, but I've had complaints that the "audio is too quiet". Any ideas?
  19. We're you able to find the source of the problem?
  20. Hello! I've been using "The Lockit" with my. mixpre 10T II for two months now without anybody complaining, so it seems to work. However I've tried to learn more about what the ACN port is for as compared to the Sync port. What are they used for? The Sync port goes into my recorder, but I just realized that the ACN port works just as well.. Which one should I be using? What's the difference and point of having both? Thanks!
  21. Any plans to make one for the Mixpre 10T II with two SRc?
  22. Definitely! Although also depends on price and if you ship to the EU also
  23. Hey! I am also extremely interested! I could maybe do it myself, but I lack the experience and would probably take ages to do it properly. Thanks Alex Edit: Also those faders! If they are 3D Printed I'd be also interested. I'm in love with your setup
  24. Hey! The STL seems to be unavailable, would you be willing to upload it again?
