    I've done a lot of work in my life, drywall, painter, plumber, logging, security, labor in mine reclamation, road repair and some minor welding and now working as laborer on the pipeline going through WV, Va and North Carolina, tie in crew and certified coater. Wanting to expand and learn as much as possible.

    I'm in the local 1353 which is a 3 he drive from where I live, local 984 is 45 minutes from home and they are working full-time (pipeline). What do I have to do to switch? I do owe some dues and will gladly pay them. I was working full-time and got got laid off in August 2018 and never got called back. ( Laborer and certified coater, tie in etc.,) But there is a lot of work right here in my area and I really want and need to get back to work but I'm new to the union and I have a lot of learning to do. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Albert Belt Elkins, WV
