  1. thanks. I hope you can put units to sleep using up and down keys instead. There is plenty of memory space on the sd cards to keep recording running but not enough battery to keep transmission running all day. And I hope anyone will test the double duo receiver configuration. I ordered a second deluxe kit and hope I am not the first to test it. I meant turning them to sleep with Up annd Down Keys INSTEAD of triggering record... Do you know when the deluxe kit will be available again? I have still not received anything yet. Or are you working on a new, improved version?

  3. Did anyone test using two duo receivers connected via cable and receiving audio from four bp-trx transmitters, yet?? I am starting to think that this won't work at all..
  4. I hope that Sennheiser and Sony will implement internal recording in their low cost UHF transmitters soon.
  5. Ok, that’s exactly what I thought would happen! And again this could be a solution. I guess they are made to record internally and use the receiver just for monitoring. This works as long as there is no problem with the sd card. If so the record symbols shows up on the duo rx when you start recording but than vanishes after a short time, even when there is no sd card inside which makes you believe you are recording. Or if they just made the main buttons on the duo rx make you put recorders to sleep that you don’t want to monitor currently instead of stopping recording you could stop them from interfering.
  6. Headphones dont have to deal with a Timecode signal, that’s already very loud, even on the lowest setting. I would expect from an 80 dollar cable more than just scratch audio. i hope an inbuilt attenuator can help.
  7. It’s just a levels Test. I varied the input level from 100 percent at the start to almost minimum level at the end to see if it affects audio bleeding. And it seems much less affected with the stereo cable. Still, Even mic level is way too much for any stereo input.
  8. I just tried to playback the recorded LTC track from my laptop to the zoom h1 using a stereo cable, the track was panned to the left. There still is audio bleeding when the gain is set so high that the level is distorting on the timecode track. But it seems way better than using the cable on the USO. 9. Exactly, sorry for the confusion. You are right, its the TCB-53 cable. Its not the original stereo file, its one track set to mono to protect your ears as the level is quite loud. I tried it on a zoom h1 as well, its exactly the same problem. I guess I need an attenuator so I can go lower than "mic-level" on the USO output or a lower level on the USO via firmware update.
  10. I am afraid its not. Its just the right channel. LTC is on the left. The problem is, I cannot go below "mic level" in the output settings of the USO. I guess I have to build my own cable to get it right. The two splitter cables I bought for 70 Euros each simply do not work.
  11. I ordered some Y-splitter cables from timecode systems some time ago to connect my Ultrasync One LTC Timecode unit and a Microphone to a camera via stereo minijack port. Unfortunately there is huge audio bleeding in frome the USO to the mic track, so I can hear the timecode unit und the mic as well. Much quieter but when you have to push the volume a little you can hear it clearly. Does anyone have the same problem with these cables?? Heres a sample of the aplified right track. Audiobleeding Ultrasync One to Sony a7 III right mic track.mp3
  12. It’s the supplied lav. But maybe it was even the connector from the receiver.
  13. I tried to sync the other way round: Using a splitt cable to feed timecode through one channel to the bp-trx, which doesnt seem to work. I guess there has to be timecode on both channels for the bp-trx to read it.
  14. A similar cable is included in the deluxe kit for the duo rx and bop-trx. So I guess it’s possible.
  15. I am using the sync map all the time and its very easy to check. It can automatically cut out gaps between video clips for a better overwiew. I tried LTC convert and tentacle sync studio, but the sync map at least for me was the feature to decide for tentacle sync. I guess I will stay there as I already have a licence, but maybe the feedback helps.
  16. This is the sync map. Just like a synced timeline in any editing application.
  17. Thanks a lot! Now it works! And it keeps the timecode. Great!
  18. And if you want to keep the option to stereo record mono sources. Is it maybe possible to add a feature like dual gain recording? Then the two channels would make sense. GREAT! IT WORKS! THANK YOU!
  19. Thanks bouke, ltc convert is a great app to. But what I am missing is the sync map of tentacle sync so I can immediately see visually if everything worked out and all the files are there before exporting the synced media.
  20. Thanks for your help. i received this email and tried to contact you again through the same email as I didn’t receive an answer.. By the way: would it be possible to map the hot keys of the duo rx via a menu setting in the next firmware update so that you can put the bp-trx to sleep mode by holding the up and down arrow instead of starting and stopping record? internal recording eats up much less battery than transmitting audio and it is much safer if recording is always turned on during the shoot. and I would love to have a much bigger record sign on the display of the rx duo.
  21. And I already contacted deity eight days ago about the problem. still no answer. Maybe they can make the products that cheap because they save a lot without support.. and even no manual for download..
  22. No way on macOS Catalina.. Known Issue Some macOS Catalina users have reported issues when installing Wave Agent. If Wave Agent is crucial to your workflow, Sound Devices recommends maintaining a previous version of macOS. I am afraid its exactly the same problem with mediaHuman: no timecode..
  23. Thanks! Unfortunately I cant install on macOS catalina. Seems to be a know issue by SD.. Known Issue Some macOS Catalina users have reported issues when installing Wave Agent. If Wave Agent is crucial to your workflow, Sound Devices recommends maintaining a previous version of macOS.
  24. Does anyone know a fast way to batch extract a mono channel from a stereo wav file on macos while keeping the timecode? I just want to extract the left channel to a separate wav file with timecode. I tried ffworks and apple compressor. Both exported files have lost their timecode. The reason for this: I just tried the new Deity BP-Trx recorder. Unfortunately it records in stereo, even when you set the input to mono. When I sync in Tentacle sync studio after that, there are a lot of redundant audio tracks and i can even run out of track when converting to broadcast standard xdcamhd (which has only eight tracks in total).
  25. Those stereo files from the trx drive me crazy. They make no sense at all when recording mono sources, or is there any option for dual gain recording? Does anyone know the fastest way to extract a mono channel from those stereo files on macOS?
