  1. Keep us updated! I am curious. BTW: pretty expensive mics for such a cheap transmitter I only checked the internal recordings without external mics.
  2. Its not a scientific test. I just watched the bars at the receiver and they were not peaking. In the audio editor it looks like round about 4 db. first the pad is on - then off.
  3. Sound

    Deity Connect.

I just received an answer, I guess some coworkers were on vacation. I hope everything will turn out well.
  4. I double checked: On my units the pad is working, although -4dB isnt very much.

    Deity Connect.

I had corrupt files regularly in the internal recording of the deity connect deluxe kit. Send them to deity one month ago. No answer and no reaction to emails since then..
  6. I wrote to vincent directly via email, one moth ago he asked me to send the broken unit for service. Since then no answer and no reaction to emails anymore.
  7. Thanks! Can you keep us updated? I will check my unit as well
  8. Found it: Low Sensitivity Mode Sometimes it may be necessary to reduce the sensitivity of the Wireless GO II's in-built microphone, so we have included the option to activate a pad for the input of the transmitters. To activate the pad, simply toggle the 'Pad' button in RØDE Central. You can also activate the pad from the receiver by selecting the transmitter using the pair button (‘∞‘), followed by a long press on the ‘dB’ button. Note: a short press will activate the mute function, so take care to hold the button until the pad symbol appears on the receiver display. This feature is particularly useful when using the transmitter with the Interview GO handheld adapter, where it may be used very close to the mouth. The pad function also affects the 3.5mm microphone input if you are using an external lavalier.
  9. Clipping is the concern right now because I cannot set gain manually. It just doesnt seem to set the gain according to the asymmetric waveform.. Its always the same, when I try it again..
  10. I have a file recorded with autogain thats clipped. The waveform is asymmetric and only one side is clipped. Could this be a faulty unit?
  11. Waveform is asymmetric in the internal recording, thats causing one side to clip. Maybe its a broken unit.
  12. I tried out the wireless go II as a backup or a very mobile solution to always have on me. I connected it via 3.5mm jack to the sony a7s. Then I went filming on a building site - someone wearing the transmitter only on the chest and talking louder because of the noise around. (not screaming) Although it was set to -24 db and far from peaking the audio is clipped. Does anyone have the same experience? I guess there is no other gain setting than the gain you set from the receiver?
  13. Thanks! I ordered the Adapter to use my old sennheiser mke2 gold on the Sony uwp-d. Do you know a decent and very cheap sony lav? Or even another sennheiser mic that I can use with the adapter? I am looking for around 50 euros.
  14. Thanks! I wanted the f2 because most of my Sony mics are unusable because I had to sanitize them because of Corona. with the f2 I get a more or less useable mic which is ok for my needs, so the price for the unit drops even more. the main problem is still the connection between f2 and tx, which needs to be 100 percent reliable.. Thanks! So I will work on my soldering skills. That’s exactly what I need, but with two screw locks. it was included with the tascam 10 cs.. unfortunately I already sold them
  15. I already have a lot of those connectors. But my soldering hasn’t been to reliable so far Thanks! I hope the wiring of a normal minijack stereo cable will do from the f2 output to the Sony input
  16. I am thinking about getting some zoom-f2-recorders as a backup for my sony uwp-d-Transmitter. Both have a minijack screw lock connection so I need a cable that goes from the minijack screw lock output of the f2 to the screw lock input of the sony transmitter. And maybe I even need the sony input polarity, wich is different from sennheiser... Does anyone know where to get those cables??
  17. Is there anyone here with contact to deity? I sent them the product two weeks ago, no response so far and no reaction to emails...
  18. Did you try ikea Ladda? Should be the same cells, but different shell and much cheaper..
  19. Thats right, it shows the energy pumped ito it. I tried gradig the batter with 3000mah instead of 250, and for the one batteriy I tested, it stopped at 2652mah.. Maybe thats the correct value..
  20. Thanks Bouke, thats a quick fix! It seems to work! I was wondering where the fixed files are, as they are not in the selected "storage location". But then i saw that it fixed the originals. (Maybe it would be even better to add anoter option not to overwrite the originals) I could check for the audio delay now. And I must say I have been wrong: It seems to be a fixed timecode offset. For some reason all the rescued files are almost exactly one second off, which means the recorded audio in the bp-trx is one second too soon. I dont know why that happens, but it can be fixed quite easily if i add a +1 second offset when syncing. Its always the same offset, no matter if i rescue with your app or with reaper. Sorry for the wrong information, guess I was too tired the night I found out about the problem and tried to fix it..
  21. This morning, grading mode is still running and already showing more than 2700mah for the batteries that have a minimum capacity of 2500 mah. Not sure if this works.
