Ironic and satisfying event. Do not talk down Camera people with DSLRs and cheaper equipment. It easier to create great video with cheap equipment these days. It is impossible to capture good sound with cheap sound equipment. That is way we are still working.

Actually the tripod is great. You can buy the fluid head and the legs separately. So I got a good head with cheap legs. Only the head is about $360 I have a switronix - cheaper red rock micro - BUT I WOULD NOT DARE MOVE WITH THE 5d. Maybe if I do not have to pan left and right. I purchased the 5d for personal use. But after the camera man got the good paying sound gig from me I decided to exercise my VENDETA rights.

How many times I have to explain that I was joking about LA mixers coming here. It is true productions pay $15 hotel rooms in Vegas compared $150 - 300 in any other city and can afford to bring people from LA. But it does not bother me at all.
