For short cables it does not matter the kind of cable.

We have discussed this before but lets refresh.
What is the benefit of S-corp vs payroll after the maximum deduction was raised?
What deductions do you get with S-corp that you can not do as single proprietor?
WHat is the benefit?
Are you asked to have your own production insurance? Cost?

I use LSoft products.
Forgot to mention for really advance recovery I use test disk. Free but not easy to use without knowledge.

Don't know if this is a joke or a real statement but no.

As I said if switched as omni the pickup pattern will get good voice with less detail in sibilance. I have dropped an Omni LC between few singers and even the once off axis sounded fine. Not to mention omni helps with comb filtering.
Here is a 3d picture of how different polarizations pick up.

Maybe it’s set as omni. I have used it like that back at my music recording days when I did not have a pop screen

This is actually a TV show that use LDCs for its primary sound, so it's basically a good looking video podcast, with actual camera operators and such, not like a Joe Rogan type deal. It's a Swedish show. I just think it's weird that they choose to have the mics like that. It's almost uncanny valley. I mean I like the sound of it, it sounds great, but there's a big disconnect with what I'm used to seeing as a TV viewer.
Nothing wrong with this setup. Golden Ratio seams to be in tact. The pop screen might be a overkill but an overkill that does not hurt is ok in my book.

I can’t even count anymore the number of times I‘ve corrected this on sets I worked on. But a second before we start rolling some prop person walks by and „oh this is wrong“ changes it back and we roll.Might sound good. Less pop from air.

I’m watching this Netflix true crime show, and all the interview segments are framing so wide that they literally have lights visible for most of the time, but still see fit to have the boom so high above the subject that it would basically be useless. I’m sure that the sound mixer objected at this clearly aesthetic choice on the part of production, but seriously, the fact that these interviews only use seconds at a time of the video portions, they really should prioritize the boom. It just makes my mind explode that someone would hinge the quality of their production on such a trivial aesthetic. 🤯
It is sad but I have done it as well. B cam on a 24 pulled back. Pretty much Lav as final sound. Or even boom if it is quiet and good acoustical . Looks like mk41

Not so quiet. 🙂

Just want to mention here that Zaxcom MARF system is a major advantage when it comes to file corruption and recovery.

Not traffic signs.
Business add signs.

I am experimenting with sign materials. It’s a sandwich of plastic with aluminum sheet panel inside. Very light.
but yes drawer hardware is very heavy. -

7 lbs for a shelf!?!??!
That's 35lbs in bare metal alone. That's nuts, no wonder aluminum makes a difference.
I can't speak for the EuroCart shelves, but they must be made out of at least 1/4" gauge on all sides to be that heavy. 9lbs of Aluminum is a lot of aluminum ... or something isn't right with the specs.
I don't have a horse in this race, but has anybody looked into manufacturers of airline carts?Sorry not a shelf. A drawer

EuroCart aluminum shelf measures at 9.4 pounds and it is smaller than 19”
A similar size but bigger 19’ is 7.3

Hello,
Sorry if I can't contribute much to the most recent questions.... In fact, I also have a question.... Is it possible to use a Compact Flash to SD or microSD adapter? (I mean to make the mirror copy)Thank you
Yes with a good adapter.
be aware some adapters are thicker.
I used adapters but do not like that the SD pops out.
just bring a small reader with you.1 minute ago, RadoStefanov said:Yes with a good adapter.

The difference in weight is quite significant. Especially when you have a follow cart with 4-5 rack mount drawers.
I just borrowed a PSC Eurocart Aluminum drawer and honestly it is very heavy. The aluminum plate that is made from is very thick. The steel drawers seam a lot lighter.

It’s nice when people copy.

Actually, when I last checked there are very few choices for the style of drawer we're talking about in aluminum. I do know that people have used various other sorts of drawers, tool chest container types, plastic, etc., but for standard type drawer in aluminum, very few companies to choose from.
Does it have to be aluminum?

That's not been my experience having used one for several years now.
I would caution anyone not to compare it to others that appear to be similar.
Mine was cheap amazon one. Yours might be better.

It took me a few years to buy one just because I thought it was “stupid”…now I have 6…https://thefoambox.com/product/the-foam-box/
super lightweight, can hang off your cart with a carabiner, (mine actually slides INTO the cart for transport) multiple height settings (Chicago/ LA) ZERO moving parts AND Infinite uses other then just to “sit” on. Made in North America….And of course the BEST part….suuuuuuuuuuuuper comfortable to sit on. I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH. So damn comfortable.
I don’t know about you but I can’t just sit still while I mix…I like to rock, roll, and fidget . Not happening with ANY other seat.
I literally take these with me anywhere I’m allowed to “bring my own chair.” Once you try it and there’s no going back…and no it’s not like a wooden apple with those silly foam toppers…
Looks cool but I need back support

Like the topic says:
What chair do you use?
I am looking for a chair that is easy to transport while pushing the cart.
Comfortable.
