I owned a Prorack - House and had clients that owned them for live broadcasts and events. Ex-Crest folks, not sure about the A&H connection. Preamps were clean and had lots of headroom and with direct outs, 6 auxes and 4 buses you have plenty of routing and mixing options. A great piece of analog. Used ones are around, I sold mine a couple of years ago. YMMV

That's fantastic stuff! I've had my Kartmaster for over 20 years, was just at the factory getting some wheel replacements. Good folks!- 10 replies

Bexel and Dale Pro Audio are the best bets for Soundfield parts in the US. I miss having Transamerica Audio Group as US distributors.

+1 on Soundfield mics and Ambisonics in general. Great way to go, most flexibility

Happy Belated Birthday Jeff!

Very important that the customs form states something about repair because that's how both sides can avoid paying duties. I've made that mistake once and it took the manufacturer 6 months to get their money back from HM Customs, I imagine it's the same in these parts.

Best of luck John and enjoy that bucket list! Bruno

I think may have taken the place of the Ravencourt splitter. Anyone with any experience? http://www.pinknoise-systems.co.uk/essential-audio-hirose-camera-splitter-p-714.html Bruno

CEDAR is used on several TV shows, plugin for ProTools is now available (no outboard hardware needed). Many moons ago I once used a Dolby Cat 43 on a shoot where the client wasn't doing any audio post but was willing to rent my Cat 43 to help with several locations. I printed a raw and a processed track. Processed track ended up in the spot. Haven't tried it since. My 2¢ Bruno

DPA 4098 - was: Shure Microflex mini-condenser on a 4 inch gooseneck
brunosound replied to DjGo's topic in Equipment
Sounded great to me, and I felt exactly the same as described in the Schoeps v. DPA file, that the Schoeps had more warmth but the DPA sounded like a very good match otherwise. My 2¢ and looking forward to trying them myself Bruno -
I can second what Jeff said about PAID. My invoices look great, have plenty of detail, and J.E.'s support is excellent. My 2¢ Bruno
