  1. Finally I have a bag worth mentioning in this fine forum. Love this Little guy . The 633 + Stingray combo is working out great. So much room and pockets/compartments, in such a small, durable and rigid bag. Got 4 Senny 2000s and 1 G3 in the front. Can get all 5 tx's in the left pocket and spares, batteries and more in the right. If it's a one day gig I can easily fit everything inside and just take the Stingray with me. Now if only K-Tek would bring out their harness already!
  2. Damn, I wanted that but sending The bag to America is a bit much......
  3. Thanks, yeah I was using the Porta brace-harness yesterday. It worked ok, but I couldn't really use the waist belt properly caused the Stingray lacks D-rings at the bottom. Will probably hold out till I at least know what the K-tek harness will be like. Thanks for the responses
  4. So I'm loving my 633 in a Stingray bag so far, but haven't really got a proper harness for it yet. I was hoping K-tek would have one out by now but in the mean time, what are people using with the Stingray and how is it working out for you?
  5. Got the Stingray for my 633 about 2 weaks ago and damn Dave, you guys did a great job on this bag. Totally loving it, best bag I've had so far . Am I correct in understanding that there is a waist belt and a harness coming for it? Are there any rough dates for when that could be?
  6. Hehe, thanks guys. Since it's not such an important part of my work flow that I'm willing to chance it, I'll take that as a "no".
  7. Hi! So I was thinking about the possibility to use a CF - SD adapter in the CF slot of my 633. In that way I would only need to carry one type of media - SD cards. Is this an advisable idea? Is there any risk och lock ups or damaged recordings in this way? Has anybody tried this? I will of course be using approved SD cards. Thanks
  8. Damn, I thought it was the button to remove all unwanted background noise. I mean, it's digital, right?
  9. Good one It's in the similar vein of one I like to use sometimes: "Of course I don't look busy, I did it right the first time."
  10. Hey, sometimes speed goes before looks and damn that was fast, well done .
  11. As someone who works in reality about 90% of the time, I struggle with this every day . No wardobe department, no rigg time, and often 3-4 hidden lavs mixed to a single track, russling on just one mic can mean disaster . Of caurse there are different levels of hell, and all is relative, so..... While I know some mixers sort of have this "whatever, it sounds crap, who cares..."-attitude, I will certainly not let cloth russle slip if I can think of a way to get rid of it on the spot. Like adding an extra peice of dubbel sided tape, when the host is asking the producer for a line or something. What I usually do when I mic people up is I will put "russle-free sound" before the mic being 100% hidden, if it's an either or situation. Say, the mic will be hidden if you view talent from straight on, but if you move to the side, you'll see it (if your looking for it). Of course this is a conversation I have with the producers but usually, they will agree with this.
  12. I think that's already been done with the H4N. The ignorance is strong in some people .
  13. Aren't most Zoom devices already sort of audio-"swiss-knives" so far? They do a lot of stuff pretty good, pretty cheap. Still, I don't see master chefs using swiss knives as their main tools. And for a reason.
  14. Hahaha, the revealer, nice one Olle . Yeah, I've never had a microdot break, BUT I've had them screw themself up on more than one ocation . Not a big fan of the microdot, the idea sounds better in theory than it is in practice. Love the lavs though .
  15. I work with DPAs all The time and don't think I ever had one break at the head for me. Although I know some mixers who aren't that gentle with gear, and I heard about it hapoening . But The Biggest draw back for me with this new mic is it won't fit the concealers (if they don't make a new version of that too).
  16. Like all great products: It will be available when it's ready.
  17. So, what harness and belt would you guys recommend for this bag? Any one in particular?
  18. Is there a way to see the video anywhere? Seems to be taken down everywhere I checked.
