  1. I had problems with this kind of setup, too. I had to deal with this kind of setup on commercials mostly (VTR guy playing back with visual effects for agency and client, thats why he couldn't use PIX) Maybe one solution could be: connect the "fancy video system" (computer-based, I guess) to a proper audio interface with balanced outputs, such as RMEs babyface or similar?!
  2. The 2000 system sounds way better than the G3 System. Also the receivers are diversity (the plugged in cable on the receiver used as 2nd antenna).I use them quiet often for documentary films...happy with the system!
  3. thanks again. I also found this "FCC & Spectrum updates" link on the Lectro website...
  4. thanks for your quick response and the contacts. I will try and contact your recommendations. If you say that 718-790 is illegal, which bands/blocks are to be used legally? thanks, Jacob.
  5. Hi group, my name is Jacob, I´m a sound recordist from Berlin, Germany. I´ve never written anything in this forum, just had a look every now and then.... But right now, I´ve got a question and maybe someone here can help me out: I will be shooting a documentary in Oahu, Hawaii in February/March and I´m not sure, which frequencies to use over there for radio mics and intercom... I think, it will not be possible to use my german wireless in Hawaii (718 - 790 MHz), right? Can anyone recommend a rental in Honolulu? I appreciate any help on this, thanks in advance! Best, Jacob.
