  1. Jeff, clicking on the envelope just brings up a box with Compose at top right and all the received messages in the box. No options to do anything else. It's got to be finger trouble but can't find out why.
  2. Anyone know how to delete messages from the inbox please?
  3. Matt, Our Bag cart is based on a Magliner sack cart so as standard the wheels are aft of the upright frame so therefore there is no chance of it tipping over. Malcolm.
  4. John, case design in the UK will make anything you want.
  5. Pindrop, a 1.27 will tighten the screw but is a bugger to get out as it jams on the hex. 1.3 works perfectly as does the .05.
  6. Sorry for the typo folks. It is a .05 that I have been searching for and yes Farnell do have them Simon but only as part of a hugely expensive set. No one seems to sell a single one in screwdriver form. I also tried Amazon but they wouldn't ship to the UK as they were not the supplier. If Rich is correct then 1.3mm is easy to find.
  7. After the post from Jack I set about trying to source a 0.5 hex key preferably in screwdriver form as manufactured by Wiha but they are not available in the UK at all. Has anyone got a link to anyone I could order one from over on your side of the pond please?
  8. Thanks for the link Blas. I went onto the Amazon UK site and sure enough the arms were there but at a staggering price of the equivalent of $200. M.
  9. Blas, Would you have a link to the folding arm and bracket please?
  10. Jan I was questioning how you used the bandage. From your description it sounds as though you pull a piece say about nine inches long onto the lower leg above the ankle then fold the bottom up over the tx so that it is between two layers of the bandage.
  11. Jan, in your experience what sizes do you use mostly and do you just pull it on or do you use the wire former that they use in emergency rooms? Also do you have one layer next to the skin and then one folded over the transmitter?
  12. A bit of useless information regarding Tubiform. It was invented by a company in my home town of Oldham. The company was called Medlock Manufacturing eventually taken over by the Seton Products Group and the product became world famous as THE tubular bandage used by virtually ever hospital in the world.
  13. There was a thread a while ago which a search doesn't reveal about the size of the Allen key needed to tighten the grub screw in a Deva fader knob. Anyone know the size please?
  14. Lovely AKG D25 on the end of the Boom & I still have one!
  15. Thanks for the thoughts Holland. Regrettably she is no better.
  16. I wholehartedly agree with Robert. It took a trip to Montreal to realise just how good craft services can be.
  17. I was contacted yesterday by a mixer from NZ who might be selling fusion 10. Unfortunately I have deleted the message whilst trying to clear out old messages. If you see this please contact me. Malcolm at manxmoviesound dot com
  18. Glen, It was an idea I had considered already. I'm sure Richmond Film Services who are agents for quite a few American products could sort it but as I have a couple of issues that I want checked against the factory specs I thought it best to return it? I messaged Ron who has offered a very quick turnaround so it's all down to Fed-Ex. if the mixer sells well in the UK I'm sure Ron will make warranty repairs something that can be fixed here. I hope it is a success as it's a joy to use.
  19. Thanks Mike, I'm sure a bit of your NZ weather would help. Thanks to everyone who passed their regards for my wife's quick recovery. Malcolm.
  20. They say that trouble always comes in threes. 1. Plugged in a brand new C-Mit. All the lights came on but no sound whatsoever. Whizzed it back to the UK distributors who are talking in weeks as Schoeps capsule department are short staffed and production is weeks behind. 2. Wife has a bad fall at home so having to leave the production. 3. Next to the last day on the production and I plugged another C-Mit into my brand new Mini Solice and the phantom power died. Contacted the sellers company who say that PSC don't have any back-up in the UK and the mixer will have to go back to Ron! Definately a bad week at dog shit bend!!
  21. Richard, Pink-Noise Audio in the UK have a cracker for sale. I don't think it is very expensive and it's mint and unused. I know because I bought it new direct from the factory for a little job and never used it. Email John McCombie and he'll sort you out.
  22. Had a strange one today with my Fusion. I had set the mirror to continuous and happily watched the files being mirrored. When we split rushes the DIT. said that the card was showing just over half a gig of data but there wasn't a file to be seen on the card. I tried to mirror another card (new) with the same result. After the lunch break the card I used on the next segment mirrored without any problem. I re-mirrored the missing segment twelve hours later and it was faultless. Anyone throw any light on why this might have occurred? I must mention that whilst not a believer in any way we are filming in a large manor house that is reputed to have a ghost.
