  1. I am trying to move to using RME Totalmix directly for surround monitoring control with the RME Arc controller. Has anyone figured out a good configuration for this ? It seems much better in quality just connecting the monitors directly rather than using a hardware controller. I managed to get a mute group working for all outputs and a button toggles this. The volume dial can be used to control a fader group for all outputs with a recall for calibrated level. My issue so far I am trying to figure out. When I power on the speakers with the power conditioner there is now a loud pop, I could avoid having mute on the SPL active. I am trying to address this without having to turn each Genelec off now. Attatched is a screen shot of partial Totalmix setup I am working on. The blue buttons is the chained mute groups. A button is mapped to toggling that mute group. Let me know.
  2. Hi guys I see this thread is still being updated. I need some assistance. Ive had my mic fixed twice for these factory earth faults. However I suffered two issues. One was the earth intermittence fault which was the zapping sound that sounds like RF dropout. The second is a constant hiss noise floor issue. The second one was hard to explain to people especially the service place. The mic got sent back to the factory for this permanent fix but it's still the same, the noise floor is still there ! Any ideas what to do ?
  3. Looks like they are aware of the issue. I was able to replicate the issue again today, so taking it into them no worries.
  4. Hi guys I finally just discovered this thread after a long time to trying to do a reduction debug method. So it seems everyone has been experiencing the same problem yet failed to recall the bad batches right ? This exact report I have also been experiencing on long records and is random so hard to replicate, but the noisy noise floor issue is constant and thought initially it was something to do with the sound devices gear. http://www.gearslutz.com/board/so-much-gear-so-little-time/741766-mkh8000-intermitent-noise.html So the solution is to goto straight to syntech and they replace it for you right ?
