Hi Jeff. Did something change here? Before it gave you an are you sure warning? Now it just marks the fourm as completely Read if you hit it accidentally.

I use something similar but with np-1 cups. Switching diode is in one cup with cables going out to a switch to turn on all wireless. 1 lead to a 4 pin xr white I have going to wireless. A Hirose to go to recorder that all ways on with no switch. One cable goes to external np-1 battery cup which I use with either an np-1 battery or an old battery empty np1 with a 4-pin XLR built inso I can either use AC or battery.

Not such a good idea a client will only see size for size. If you have a say a 32gb card they will think any 32gb card will just be equivalent not knowing that it maybe useless with the set-up recorder you are using.

Pete Verando(sp??). Does the schoeps cmc4 mods but also now does 416t to p48. Check online and other posts on here.

You could always get your 816T moded for p48 and ditch any sort of conversation barrel.

To monitor off the 742 I use the fb3. I keep the 742 next to the fb3 on my belt with coiled cable to the boom and use that and it works well. Only use that setup really if I want super light and don't want to carry a mixer around or b roll. Another way is in a Small Fanny pack I keep a MixPreD with a rx200 and monitor that way with the 742 on the pole. Works great if I'm recording MS as I can use the stereo cone and then decode on the MixPreD. Recording is done on the 742.

And it's now officially turned into a patent thread.

For purchase outside of say the US is it setup to do both?
