  1. Like I said, no issues with those last two transmitters. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  2. Update: got my hands on another UH400 (41.7 volts) and an HM (46 volts) and had seemingly no issues. I'm dumbfounded. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  3. So it's reading 44 volts. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  4. I played with the switch in all three positions. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  5. It's 48V and UH400 Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk There is noise and i have to crank it up significantly to get "useable" signal. Going to try with an HM and report back. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  6. Hard-wired, my two 50s behave normally. Going into the UH400 transmitter, there is significant gain loss. Using the CMIT with the same wireless setup yields normal results. Any ideas? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  7. Thanks guys! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  8. What keyboard model are you using? I'm looking for a problem-free one for my 664. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  9. So I do fast-paced scripted TV in NYC with 3 cameras shooting all over the place so it's hard to be very close to set but we do our best to get the antennas our there. It's never more than 4-6 lavs (UM400s and SMQVs) and 2 wireless booms, all 100mW, going through either ALP620s or more recently Shure Powered Antennas, RF Multi SMA and SRbs. Some days/locations are better than others but I've had some terrible RF situations which have scarred me and made me superstitious.
  10. What city and what blocks are you working in? Also what kind of work is it?
  11. I went what you're smoking. Flawlessly? As in no hits, fuzz, RFI ever?
  12. I do it all the time, but I do have issues sometimes, which I'm chalking up the the SRb's not having front end tracking.
  13. In that case, I'll take 6
  14. Larry or Karl, any updates on a 100mW wideband SM?
  15. Hey Glen, what is this product - The BDSHQIN? Is that the as of yet unavailable cup? http://www.trewaudio.com/product/remote-audio-bdshqin/
  16. 664 gives you 2 mix tracks and 2 aux tracks in addition to the 12 iso tracks for a total of 16, doesn't it? I imagine the 688 does the same.
  17. This cart makes me want to throw mine out and quit. Good job.
  18. Thanks Glen. I'm buying the Remote Audio batteries.
  19. So Glen, to confirm, because I really like Remote Audio and I would be using these batteries through a BDSV4u, the Remote Audio batteries are going to be just as good as the others, with the possible exception of initial rush-current draw, correct? Any ETA on when Remote Audio's cup will become available?
  20. I am a happy 664 owner and I mix narrative TV with an analog front-end on a cart. I will be upgrading to a CL-12 though, and if I do that, I will lose what little EQ I have, which is my main reason for even considering the 688. I know that post 99% of the time goes straight to the isos and remixes and EQs everything anyway, but it's really more for the dailies mix and scripty and director on set. We do a lot of lavs in ties. If I did get the 688 though, I would make that my primary recorder and keep the 664 in the bag for breakaway bag work. My 2 cents.
  21. So thorough thank you! I guess there's no standar TA4 cup yet. It would also be cool if they made an IDX to IE adapter cable or slot.
  22. Is there a charger for these yet?
  23. As far as I know, you're right about the SRa and SRb. I have no idea about the SRc though.
  24. If my boom ops don't get the batteries in right on the first try, they go home. Just kidding.
  25. Will these firmware updates be a legal requirement?
