The current suplied by tx
Send it to lrctro or by schoeps cmc 6:)
-
Not enoght current power the mike
.
-
Place a cable between these 2 and check how much it read under load ) unscrew the xlr plug )
-
Same
Thevonly other thing may happend you have switch failiur and it stacked on 18 v
Try to play with the switch and see if the mike doesnt work at all when you goes to 5v position
-
If your dc to dc converter fucked up on your uh you dont get the 48 v . if you dont have 48 the mkh wont work normaly. The cmit can work from 12 v
Thats why you need the voltmeter
-
Did you messure it with voltmeter or you tell me where is the switch is ?:)
-
Check the voltage on uh.
-
Check if you have correct 48v output on your tx
Some mikes could work normaly from 12 to 48 with internal dc to dc converor. The 50 need 45v at least

Now you can afford 7.1 recording for cheap

I guess he slept better then you

The good folks at Tascam have price protected us so; our in-stock inventory reflects the new pricing.
Thanks for asking
Hello Steve .
What about the mixing panel Tascam made for HS-P82 , have it been reduced in price as well ?
And do you ship to Poland ?

Thank you all who gave a real advice .
We came to decision to use external tc generator ( Horrita) which will feed on one of the camera channels, while the second one will get camera mic feed .
]That way, we will have 2 options for synchronization .
Using the digital slate on documentary is not really an option ,while the camera operator is shooting free style , rolls or stops the camera when he thinks he need to do it whithout wait to slate or turn to slate .
I do remember that lanc comunication which FS 100 camera equipped with , carries TC , at least it is what i remember from old Sony and Canon dvs , but unfortunately we don't have Ambient lanc tc generator so we couldn't check if it still can work that way .

I have a job coming with that camera and did not find any evidence for time code synchronization available .
It is a documentary style shoot , so if we cant sync in advance ,i will need run the sound, directly to the camera .
Any leads for what might be done or how to handle the camera sound ?
The editing is on Avid, so no pluraleyes available .
My setup is 442 and 744 .
Thanks in advance .

Christian , there is short answer I got from Oleg for you
" Petrol do not intend to develop any bag for non existing products , for item which is in development by Zaxcom , we don't see any need in new design as any existing petrol bag except the 607 would work without any problem by making small exercise by opening 2 zippers from behind or fron t, to change any cable configuration by spoiled mixers.
We hope that Zaxcom will introduce short legs for it, to rise the recorder and give the cables freely go left or right under the mixer , and if not , we don't see it as a major problem .
Petrol do not design unique equipment begs but unique multiply gear solutions..
The only bag which we will introduce in near future will be excellent for many different recorders , mixers and your chiropractor bill .
Best wishes -
Petrol Audio bags development team "

Jon,
I used to use a similar system (just a battery plate and battery) and it fit in the back pocket of my PSMB302(?), no problem. I do believe there is a newish DV cam battery that outputs 14.4 and has a D-tap output too!
-Jason
These are not dv batteries but special Sony EX mount without infolithium protocol .

I bough a couple of these ,which are 95 w and it holds my 302 /744 combo + 2 radio mics for 5-6 hours each .
And thanks to Oleg who was kind enough to point me to that shop .

shown at the AES exhibition this weekend. 4 x mic/line IPs, 2 x line IPs, 2 x AES IPs (2 x AES pairs), 8 channel recorder, plenty of OPs, TC by Ambient, Euro 4250 with TC!!!
Kindest regards,

Hi Tomash,
This has changed from the SX-R4. Now you can either mirror the internal SSD on the CF card with up to 8 tracks, or record up to 8 tracks on the internal SSD and have only the mix tracks 7 and 8 on the CF card for dailies delivery. In the latter case, the file format needs to be mono or stereo interleaved for both drives.
Jürg
Thank you for your explanation , do you know if it could make 10 tracks by use the 8 digital ins or all the analog ins include the two return line level ones with internal scratch track mix as it with Sound Devices 788?

If I have, I hope that you will find it in your heart to forgive me.
As a Catholic I can do it .
I'm sure if we met that we would have a lot in common.
You bother in sound, Mirror
As a person and sound man I don't see anything I have in common with you and I like it will stay that way .

Cloud,
The SX62R plus three UCR411As runs for approx 2 1/2 to 3 hours with a 65 Wh li-ion NP1.
If I remember well, I measured the SX62R to have a current draw of approx. 1 amp, that would be around 15 Watt at the battery's nominal voltage. A Lectro UCR411a taking around 200 mA, three of them would be 600 mA, so the rig would draw around 1.6 amps resulting in a total power consumption of around 24 Watt, thus 2 1/2 hours, in theory.
That's pretty much on par with the specs of a 788, for instance. Of course, the current draw may vary a lot, depending on how many inputs are activated, phantom powering, HD access and display brightness, etc.
Cheers,
J.
Hello J, as I recall from their previous products , the recorder could not save the the same amount of data on both medias , writes only 8 tracks on its hard disk and left/right mix on the cf card , is it still like that ?
And do you know if sonosax plans any fader control surface to use with that one ?

I was in error on this.
The STA042 will support AES42 inputs if externally powered by 9-18 volts. It will support balanced AES with internal or external power.
It will not support analog inputs. The STA150 or STA100 will still be needed for that.
Glenn
Is it passive device , or able to rise the digital gain?
Just a stupid question, is it complete digital or digital to analog trx 900 input ?
Tomash B
-
It will be quick as the TRX942 has AES42 input now. Its mainly a packaging job. Should be available August.
Glenn
AES 42 as stand alone with trx 900 with its internal batteries or you will need ext power for that ?
or AES 3 only ?

http://www.naiant.com/tinyboxspecification.html
I wonder if that one would power my Octava capsule directly.
Tomash B
-
Is it available with 5 lemo only or will be another options for TC in/out plugs ?
How long the batteries last ?
Tomash B

Usually , you need it for everything you did mention above .
Additional usage is, eliminating proximity effect you have with your microphones placed in close range to the audio source .
