  1. Do you need wireless if they are just sat around a table? Mics on desktop stands not an option?
  2. Does anyone know the part number for the faders on a standard cl-12? I seem to recall they were ALPs faders. Hoping to order a a replacement without having to open it up first..
  3. I have a set of microsones that I haven’t used in the field but on testing 2 things I found that could be problematic- the delay Bluetooth introduces and I couldn’t get as much level out of them as on phonaks. Not sure how they would go in louder environments for this reason. As always you get what you pay for!
  4. I had the same problem, sent it off to get repaired. I think it's the spring that pushes up the battery terminals inside the unit that needed replacing.
  5. I've found you can just squeeze a MKH70 70 into a Rode blimp with a low profile xlr connector (cable techniques). I don't use the MKH70 much so didn't want to spend the $ on a rycote.
  6. Good to know, I've been using an adaptor also
  7. Absolutely, I've been using the txAdvance app which is excellent
  8. Yep following rules 1-3 which is working pretty well, just trying to get that extra 5%! Good point about the potential broken SMA.
  9. I'm thinking of adding some inline RF attenuators to my links/hops transmitters in my bag setup, to help my recievers out with spray etc. I'm using smqv and the min power output is 50mW, I think half that or even less would be enough from my bag to camera which is usually close. Has anyone one done be this? I recall a discussion somewhere but can't find it now. How much attenuation would I need? 5db, 10db? If anyone knows the formula that would be amazing!
  10. I might have of missed it, but what happens when the battery in the earpiece needs replacing after several years? Do I send it back to manufacturer or will I just buy a replacement earpiece?
  11. Proaims soundchief looks like a direct copy of a Rastorder Foldup cart http://www.rastorder.com.au/product_foldup.htm
  12. Hey Ed, I've been using one of these with no troubles https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/322165403845 I went with 15 volt so I can have both it and a smart battery plugged into my PSC triple play BDS. The BDS uses the source with highest voltage so if I lose AC power it switches to my battery.
  13. Can you select and upload a folder though, like In your example the folder named 20Y11M20. Or if uploaded the folder AON-TEAM-A will the sub folders and files also upload?
  14. Can you select entire folders to upload rather than individual files? In the demo video it doesn't seem to show this? I've tried using dropbox and google drive apps and directly connecting to an 833 and that was a major drawback for me, having to create the folders then adding files to them on the cloud.
  15. Thanks for the replies, I think I'll just run seperate batteries for now.
