  1. I heard sometime that in an heavy reflective environment less RF power of the transmitter could be better. Very unscientific so.
  2. Hi to all, glad to find this forum - a group of people thinking with the same passion about a simple thing as a bag - great. So my first post: I totally agree with Rado Stefano to not like this sort of MXC Portabrace Mixer Bags. I had one for an SQN 2 rental and totally disliked it. wobbles around and no good access to front pouch and no good protection for the wireless. But its not the company I dislike. I own an Porta Brace Audio Organizer AO1 which works great for three wireless, Sqn 2 with NP1 Ampower, 3 Tramboxes and spare cables. I really love it - nothing better on the market for me. Now I ordered an Sound Device 552 and need to find the right bag for that as well. Thats more dificult to me as I won't have an Ampower screwed to it (not possible I am told) but an Hawk Woods Np-1 Cup (lightweight with 4 hirose) with hirose power cable. Sadly Hawk woods has only a good NP-1 cup with battery led where the NP-1 has to stand upright with Np Cup on top. http://www.hawkwoods...=np-70&asi2=mr4 So if I understand that right: if I like to see the Power LED the bag has to be quite high I guess around 20-21cm. Has anyone used that specific hawk wood? Has anyone used a SD 552 with an Portabrace AO 1.5 or AO 2 or AO4? From the specs the AO 1.5 is 600g lighter than an Petrol 601. Is has no flap for the SD card - so is it easy enough to tilt the 552 to get the SD card out? The AO-2 is still 200g lighter and certainly big enough but maybe too big. AO-4 has a flap but no pouch on that side and not high enough for the Np-1 and also around 2kg like the Pertol 601. Main compartments of all Porta Audio Organizers have to be build with dividers for sure. Are the Petrol bags really heavier than Portas Audio Organizer? Can't believe that 100% - alone the comfortable leather shoulder belt should be heavier than the Petrol one.
