+1 on the stickit being quieter than topstick. i've strayed away from topstick because it is way too noisy, plus I love the circle dots of the SuperStickit.

The spring mounts are the new ones that came in the redesign right? if it is, it explains the difficulty to move and our eventually breaking of it.

so neverclip is already active but to fully utilize it and the headroom, you have to use the ISO attenuation? ive been trying to wrap my mind around this. EDIT: I just read the other neverclip workflow thread and this questions been answered.

that happened to me recently and couldnt figure out what the problem was. eventually i had to send it out to the to sennheiser for them to fix it. thankfully the unit was still under warranty. I'm not really sure what the problem ended up being, i just know they replaced the board again.

+1 to what these guys have already said. I did a show and they had an extra pouch on their belt to put the TXs in, usually a SMQV and if that was out of the question I simply put it inside their pockets. Easy stuff.

All i can say is I bought my np1s from http://batteries4broadcast.com/ and the wall charger. ive powered all sorts of recorders. definitely recommend them. theyre the same as the global media pro batteries just packaged differently.
