  1. Anyone found a Rack Depth Rail to Rail 10.70 in 27.18 cm shallow sliding aluminium rack shelf in the last 5yrs?
  2. I'm getting a Lectrosonics SSM and am tossing up wether to get a Countryman -10dB B6 or non padded version. I own 5 SMV's so this unit will be for those hard to mic costumes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Hi, Any tips on getting my Wingman dongle to work. Can't find it on my iOS devices. All software and apps running latest firmware/updates inc. 688. I can't get it to work via CL-12 either. Has worked before but not any longer?

  5. Thanks, Derek, Larry, Peter Edward and Mungo, all great tips. Looking forward to my next hop gig (never thought i'd say that).
  6. Good tips gentlemen, thanks. This is my hop setup: Mixer outputs at -10 (688 X1 & X2) SMQV's level at 29 so that both -10 and -20 light are illuminated when sending tone at 0db SRb level set to 0 With this setup I still need to add +10db on the camera to reach unity which isn't ideal obviously. When I run tone only from the SRb I reach unity on the camera without needing to add gain. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
  7. What mode should my SMQV's and SRb be in for a hop situation. 100, 200, IFB?
  8. Hey bralleput, what type of NP-1's and how would you go through in a day of heavy use if you will?
  9. Has anyone tried connecting the BNC output of a Lectrosonics Venue System to the BNC input on a Sound Devices SL-6? I want to share the reception my Venue System receives from my powered shark fins with a 688/SL-6 set up to expand my wireless setup on my cart. The coaxial run between the Venue System to the SL-6 would only be 50cm or so.
  10. "Next addition is a mount for the Ipad mini. Looking at the Ram Mounts." I like the mounts this company makes http://www.thejoyfactory.com/
  11. That takes the cake, recorder around neck and booming with a 30' pole!
  12. Hi, I was hopeing somebody could help me find a company or Sound Recordist that will hire radio mics in Tokyo, Japan. We are shooting a few scenes for a film in central Tokyo over 3 days. I am taking my own equipment but I would like to hire some receivers and transmitters in legal registered frequencies. I have tried General Trades but it seems their company has liquidated. Some General Traders staff started a company called Tech Trust but they don't specialize in hirage, only sales. I have read an artical by Steve Nelson http://soundandpictu...2010/index.html and have emailed him. Any suggestions appreciated, Thanks, Fred
  13. I am looking for body belts for concealing transmitters under costumes. I have made searches online but have not found anything specific for Film & Television. I realize I could have a seamstress make some up but I am not against purchasing something ready made for convenience sake. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
